Mrs. Dianna Conrad, 77, widow of William Conrad, died Wednesday, April 5, at her home, Frederick St. limits, Kitchener.

She was born in Bridgeport, July 27, 1872, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Zinkhan.

Surviving is one son, Clement Conrad, R.R. 3, Elmira; and one brother, Zion Zinkan, Kitchener.

The body was at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira. A public service was held in the chapel on Friday at 2 p.m. Interment was in North Woolwich Evangelical Cemetery. Rev. C. R. Heckendorn officiated.

BRUIN ZINKANN

Bruin Zinkann, 67, died suddenly at his home at Heidelberg, yesterday, as the result of a heart attack. He was a native of Bridgeport, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Zinkann. Following his marriage to Mathilda Moser in 1903, he resided in Kitchener, for a number of years. Mr. Zinkann had been engaged in farming for the past 35 years, 27 of which had been spent at his late home. Surviving are his wife: three daughters, Mrs. Enid Schneider of near Heidelberg, Mrs. Mary Schneider of Kitciiener and Beatrice, at home: one son, Howard of Heidelberg; a brother, Zion of Kitchener and a sister, Mrs. William Conrad of Elmira. Five grandchildren also survive. The remains will rest at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, until Friday morning, when removal will be made to his late residence. Funeral service will be held Saturday afternoon, at two o'clock at the house, followed by a service at Heidelberg Evangelical Church, at 2;30. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery, Heidelberg.

Elmira - Clement Conrad, 60, of RR 3, Elmira, died suddenly Thursday of a heart attack at the Albert Seiling farms where he had been employed for the past 22 years.

Born in Bridgeport May 25, 1903, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Conrad. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Elmira.

Surviving are his wife the former Alice Reist to whom he was married Nov. 18, 1933, in Kitchener; three sons, David, Lester and Murray, all of Elmira; two daughters, Mrs. Lavern (June) Beggs of Elmira and Gloria Conrad of Winnipeg and two grandchildren.

The body is at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor where the service will be conducted in the Chapel Saturday at 2:30 pm. Burial will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery. Rev. H.W. Baetz will officiate.

Beloved wife of the late Lavern Beggs (1995) and Fred Moyer (2019).

Predeceased by her parents Clement and Alice Conrad, her sister Gloria Benediktson, and her sisters-in-law Marjorie and Cynthia Conrad.
June was very skilled on the piano, loved her flower beds, enjoyed cooking and baking, and loved to dance.

At June's request, cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral home visitation. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 in the Dreisinger Funeral Home Chapel, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira, followed by burial beside her husband Lavern in Elmira Union Cemetery.
