Wednesday, April 3, 1991, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Russell Frank, of Baden. He was born in Kitchener 69 years ago, a son of the late John Frank and the former Frieda Doering. He had worked for MacMillan Tire & Battery Ltd. in Kitchener for over 40 years. He was an honorary member of the Wilmot Rod and Gun Club. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Queen Street, Kitchener. Beloved husband of the former Arlene Hartwig whom he married May 15, 1948. Lovingly remembered by his children, Carol and her husband Jim Burchatzki, Joanne and her husband Bill Snyder, Stephen Frank, all of New Hamburg, John Frank and his wife Trudy of Kitchener. Sadly missed by 13 grandchildren, Jeremy, Shawn and Katie Ann Burchatzki, Shane, Jared, Billie-Joe and Kristin Snyder, Stephen Jr. and Joshua Frank, John Jr., Corie, Amanda and Dana Frank. Ever remembered by two brothers, Kenneth Frank and his wife Betty and Lloyd Frank, all of Kitchener; two sisters Elaine Frank of Kitchener, Geraldine and her husband Delford Block of Edson, Alta.; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Lorraine Frank of Kitchener. Russell was predeceased by one brother, Harold. Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 290 Huron St., New Hamburg, after 7 pm today (Thursday) and until Saturday at noon, when transfer will be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Queen Street, Kitchener, for the service at 2 pm, with Pastor A. Scharlach officiating. Interment in Memory Gardens, Breslau.

Frank Burchatzki. 32, of Tavistock, passed away suddenly, at his residence, on Tuesday, March 15, 2005. He was born in Kitchener on January 19, 1973; was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hamburg; enjoyed snowmobiling, playing hockey and riding his "Harley" and was employed at Toyota Canada in Cambridge.
Jeremy is survived by his wife, the former Alison Marie Schwartzentruber, whom he married at Trinity Lutheran Church on September 9, 1995; two daughters, Caitlyn and Abby; one son, Owen; his mother, Carol (Frank) Merner of New Hamburg; his father, Jim Burchatzki of New Hamburg; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Calvin and Carol (Neeb) Schwartzentruber of Tavistock; - his brother, Shawn and wife Sonya Burchatzki and their children, Ryan and Kyle of New Hamburg; his sister, Katie and husband Corey Gingerich and their children Hailey and Paige of RR 2, Baden; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Tammy and Jim Szanto and their son Tyler of New Hamburg; grandparents, Arlene Frank of Baden), Glenn Yantzi and wife Debbie of St. George, Elmina Schwartzentruber of Tavistock along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his step-father, Paul Merner; grandparents, Russell Frank, Muriel Yantzi, Floyd Burchatzki, Howard and Ruth Neeb and Clayton Schwartzentruber; his aunt, Wendy Cook and his uncle, Bill Snyder. Relatives and friends will, be received in the Francis Funeral Home, 77 Woodstock Street North, Tavistock on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hamburg on Friday, March 18, 2005 at 2 p.m. The Rev. Andre Lavergne will officiate. In-terment in Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg.As expressions of sympathy, do-nations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hamburg would be appreciated and may be made through the funeral home., by calling 655-2431.
