    Raymond passed away at Trinity Village Care Centre in Kitchener, Ontario on June 12, 2003 at 74 years of age.

    He was the husband of Katherine nee Genzinger, father of Cathy and husband John Matthews, Raymond Jr. and wife Pia both of Mississauga and Michael and wife Cindy of Kitchener. Grandfather of Sarah Matthews.

    He was survived by brothers James (Jeanette) and Lawrence (Carol). Brother-in-law of Laura Wilhelm, Tony Wagner of Walkerton, George Genzinger (Marilyn) and Elizabeth Beatty (Gord) of Lakeside, ON. Predeceased by his parents Edna (Weiler) and John Wilhelm and his sister Catherine Wagner and brother Wilbert Wilhelm.

    Raymond's family received relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener (749-8467). Parish prayers were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

    Prayers were also offered in the funeral home chapel on 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 16, 2003 followed by a procession to St. Aloysius R.C. Church (11 Traynor Ave., Kitchener) for funeral mass at 11 a.m. Fr. Cornelius O'Mahony officiated,

    WILHELM, Wilbert (Wib) -- It is with deep regret that the family of Wilbert Wilhelm announce his death. peacefully on Monday, April 22, 1991, at home, after a courageous struggle with cancer, age 58 years. Dearly loved husband of Laura (Ackerman), dear father of Mary and her husband Bill Upton of Kitchener, John and his wife Ann of Toronto, Julie of London, Ont., Joanne of Kitchener and Paula at home. He is survived by one sister, Catherine Wagner of Walkerton and three brothers, Raymond, James, and Lawrence Wilhelm, all of Kitchener. Predeceased by his parents, John Wilhelm and the former Edna Weiler and his niece, Janice Wagner. Wib was a member of St. Anne's RC Church, Knights of Columbus, Kitchener Council No. 1504, the Nocturnal Adoration Society and Cursillo. He was an employee of the Kitchener-Waterloo Record for over 40 years and was a member of their 25 Year Club. At the request of the family, there will be no visitation, but they ask that you remember Wib for his integrity and sense of humour. Also they ask that you join them at the Mass of Christian Burial and committal service at St. Anne's RC Church, East Avenue, Kitchener, on Wednesday, April 24 at 10: 30 a.m., Father Gerry Hayes officiating.
