    Notes:

HANGED HIMSELF WHILE IN FIT OF DESPONDENCY

A sad discovery was made Thursday morning at the unfortunate man's farm near Doon when the dead body of Arthur Hannusch, who resided at 82 Ahrens St., Kitchener, was found hanging suspended by a rope in the barn. The discovery was made by the deceased man's wife and her father. who had driven out to the farm this morning to ascertain his whereabouts.

The deceased left his home on Tuesday morning and stated that he would be back for supper. It was supposed he had gone to his farm. and when he did not return in the evening Mrs. Hannusch supposed that he had desired to remain with relatives living adjacent to the farm. Wednesday Mrs. Hannusch telephoned to a sister in law to enquire about Mr. Hannusch and was informed that he had not been seen. She immediately became anxious regarding his welfare and communicated with her father. They drove to the farm early Thursday and found his dead body. It is believed that the rash deed was committed some time on Tuesday.

The deceased was of a quiet and unassuming disposition. For years he was employed at the Robe Company's plant on Foundry street, as cutter, but owing to failing health he was obliged to give up his position about a year ago, and decided to engage in farming with a view to recovering his health. During the winter months he lived at his home on Ahrens street, but during the last few weeks appeared to be in a despondent mood owing to the condition of his health. Previous to his death he had disposed of his farm and stock and was also negotiating the sale of his home on Ahrens street. He is survived by his bereaved wife and a young son who will have the sympathy of a wide circle of friends.

The funeral of the late Arthur Hannusch took place Saturday from the residence 82 Ahrens St. west, to St. Mary's church, and from thence to Mount Hope cemetery.
