    Elias H. Rudy, 62, died suddenly today at his home, 63 Church St., as a result of a heart attack. He had been suffering from a heart condition for a number of years. Born June 13, 1882 near Bamberg, he was a s/o the late Mr. and Mrs.Benjamin Rudy. As a young man he went to the Canadian West where he established a retail hardware business at Guernsey, Sask. In 1918 he married Mary Ann Shantz, who survives. The late Mr. Rudy returned to the Kitchener area in 1926 and had resided here until the time of his death.He was engaged in the upholstery trade. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three brothers, William of Centreville, Jeremiah of Waterloo, Josiah of Melville, Sask., and by four sisters, Mrs. Noah Snyder of Preston, Mrs. Ellen Porn of Redland, Cal., Mrs. Simeon Gingerich of Waterloo and Mrs. John Blodgett of Rochester,N.Y. Three sisters predeceased him....First Mennonite Cemetery.
