    Schwartzentruber, Elizabeth Wagler, daughter of Christian Z. and Fanny (Schwartzentruber) Wagler, was born in North Easthope Twp., Ont., Nov. 26, 1904; died at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Ont., July 22, 1990; aged 85. On Jan. 29, 1925, she was married to Allen Schwartzentruber, who survives. Also surviving are 3 sons (Kenneth, Vernon, and Leonard), 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters (Lavina, Alice, and Lauretta), and one brother (Nyle). She was preceded in death by one son (Lyle) and one sister (Katie Yantzi). She was a member of St. Agatha Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on July 24, in charge of Gerald Schwartzentruber and Elmer Schwartzentruber; interment in the church cemetery.

    SCHWARTZENTRUBER, Vern (1931 - 2017) Surrounded by family and into the loving arms of Jesus, Vernon passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 20, 2017. Vernon deeply loved his wife June Schwartzentruber (Erb), of 64 years, and will be incredibly missed by her. Vernon was so life loving and he was an incredible father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His kindness, great sense of humour, gentle words and love will be greatly missed. Vernon leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love and family. Vernon is survived by his children Dwight (Cathie) Schwartzentruber, Brian (Deb) Schwartzentruber, Cheryl (Marty) Schwende, Kevin (Donna) Schwartzentruber, Bob (Donna) Schwartzentruber. He is lovingly remembered by his grand- children Barry, Stephen (Meghan), Taryn, Randall (Teresa), Kahley (Steve), Krysten (Tony), Tyler (Justine), Kyle (Lauren), Melissa (Erj), Natalie, Luke (Melissa) and Ben. He will forever be missed by his eight great-grandchildren, honorary grandson Mike Lockston and many other friends. Vernon is survived by his brother, Leonard (Delphine), sisters and brothers-in-law Eleanor Roth, Robena Gerber, Carl (Fern) Erb, Arthur Steinmann, Hilda (Elroy) Gingerich, Marjorie (Laverne) Schwartzentruber, Darlene (Harold) Culp. Predeceased by his parents Allen and Elizabeth, brothers Kenneth and Lyle, sisters-in-law Grace Schwartzentruber, Florence Steinmann and brother-in-law Gerald Roth. Vernon was an active member at Steinmann Mennonite Church for 47 years and since has attended at Westhills Mennonite Fellowship. Family and friends will be received at Steinmann Mennonite Church, 1316 Snyder's Rd. W., Baden ON N3A 3K8 on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 1 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Interment to take place at St. Agatha Mennonite Church, 1967 Erb's Road, Baden Ontario at 12: 30 p.m. on Thursday, August 24, 2017 with Celebration of Life service to follow at Steinmann Mennonite Church at 2: 00 p.m. Thank you to the Palliative Team at Care Partners for their gentle loving support thereby allowing dad to be cared for and remain at home during his final days. Vernon can be fondly remembered in lieu of flowers by a donation to Ray of Hope or Shalom Counselling Services, which may be arranged through the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home.     Schwartzentruber, Lyle W., son of Allan and Elizabeth (Wagler) Schwartzentruber, was born near Petersburg, Ont., Feb. 16, 1935; died suddenly as a result of a car and truck accident, Sept. 17, 1962; aged 27 y. 7 m. 1 d. On Aug. 18, 1958, he was married to Eleanor Wismer, who survives. Also surviving are one son (Duane), 3 brothers (Kenneth, Campinas, Brazil; Vernon, and Leonard), and his grandmother (Mrs. Barbara Wagler). He was a member of the Steinman Church, where funeral services were held Sept. 20, in charge of Orland Gingerich and Elmer Schwartzentruber.
