    Mrs. David Hammer

    Mrs. David Hammer, 90, of Wellesley, died Friday at K-W Hospital, after a short illness. Born in Wilmot Township, Mrs. Hammer was the former Catherine Heise, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Louis Heise. She and her husband were life long residents of Wellesley. Mrs. Hammer was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wellesley, and an honorary member of the Ladies' Aid.

    Predeceased by her husband in 1958, she is survived by a son, Louis, of Detroit; one daughter, Mrs. George (Matilda) Strebel of Waterloo, with whom Mrs. Hammer lived following the death of her husband; five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

    Funeral services were held in St. Paul's Lutheran Church Monday afternoon with Rev. Ronald Reisdorf officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

    Mrs. David Hammer, 90, of 29 Moore Ave. N., Waterloo, died at K-W Hospital after a brief illness.

    Mrs. Hammer, the former Catherine Heise, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Heise, was born in Wilmot Township Sept. 4, 1885. She was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wellesley, and an honorary member of the Ladies Aid. Her husband died in 1958. Mrs. Hammer has been living with her daughter, Mrs. George (Matilda) Strebel, in Waterloo for the past eight years.

    Surviving are a son, Lewis of Detroit; a daughter, Mrs. Strebel; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hammer was predeceased by a son, Adam, a brother and two sisters.

    The body was at the Futher Brothers Funeral Home, Wellesley, until Monday noon when removal was made to St. Paul's Church, Wellesley, for the service at 3 pm. Entombment in St. Paul's Cemetery. Rev. Ronald Reisdorf officiated.

    Mrs. Matilda Reibling, 83, of RR 1, Wellesley, died Saturday at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Philip Wagner, RR 1, Wellesley.

    Born in Wilmot Township, Aug. 28, 1878, she was a daughter of Ludwig Heise. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Philipsburg. Her husband, Conrad Reibling, predeceased her in 1944.

    Surviving are two sons, Harry of New Hamburg and Milton of RR 2, Baden; two daughters, Mrs. Philip (Hilda) Wagner and Mrs. Richard (Vera) Witherall of RR 1, Wellesley; one sister, Mrs. David (Catherine) Hammer of Waterloo; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

    The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon with service at Zion Lutheran Church, Philipsburg. Rev. Norman Keffer officiated and burial was in the adjoining cemetery.

    WELLESLEY, Jan. 2.-A well-known hardware merchant in Wellesley, Adam H. Hammer, 38, died at his home yesterday.

    Mr. Hammer had been in the hardware business for 24 years and during the last two years operated his own store. The son of Mr. and Mrs. David Hammer, Wellesley, he was born at North Easthope, Jan. 2, 1909. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church; a member of the church board, and a trustee of the Wellesley Public School. His marriage to the former Christina Wagner, who survives, took place in Wellesley, Oct. 27, 1934.

    Surviving besides his wife and parents, are two sons, Laverne and William at home; one daughter, Doreen; one brother Louis, Detroit; and one sister, Mrs. George (Matilda) Strebel, Waterloo.

    A private service will be held at his home Sunday at 2:30 p.m., followed by a public service at the First St. Paul Lutheran Church at 2:45 p.m. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. C. R. Kramer will officiate.

Funeral Home, Wellesley, after 7 p.m. this evening until noon Thursday, September 9, when removal will be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church for the funeral service at 2:30 p.m. Rev.     Hilda was born in Wilmot Township 93 years ago. Daughter of the late Conrad Reibling and the late Matilda Heise. She was a member of 1st St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wellesley, where she was active with the Mary Martha Society. Hilda enjoyed quilting and was a member of the Wellesley Jolly Oldsters.

    Loving mother of Harold and his wife Doreen Wagner of New Hamburg, Irene Hofstetter of Wellesley, Audrey and her husband Peter Switzer of Stratford and Dorothy and her husband Merlyn Martin of RR 2, West Montrose; dear sister of Milton Reibling of RR 2, Baden; sister-in-law of Evelyn Reibling of New Hamburg. Lovingly remember by nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

    Predeceased by her husband, Philip Wagner, June 11, 1985; by two brothers, Herbert and Harry Reibling; also by two sisters, Emily Reibling and Elvera Witherall and a sister-in-law, Ruby Reibling; a brother-in-law, Richard Witherall and a son-in-law, Jack Hofstetter.

    REIBLING, Milton Passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener. Milton resided and farmed all his life at R.R. # 2 Baden. He was born 96 years ago in Wilmot Township and was the son of the late Conrad and Matilda (Heise) Reibling. Beloved husband of the late Ruby (Berg) Reibling who predeceased him November 13, 1980. Loving father of Douglas Reibling and Burton Reibling both of Baden. Missed by his sisters-in-law Evelyn Reibling of New Hamburg, Doris Berg of Kitchener and a number of nieces and nephews. Milton was predeceased by his brother Harry Reibling, sisters Hilda and husband Philip Wagner, Elvera and husband Richard Witherall, Emily in infancy and brothers-in-law Ralph Berg and Lloyd Berg. Milton was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Philipsburg. He enjoyed hunting and trapping. Family and friends will be received at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Sunday, July 19, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Monday, July 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
