    Notes:

    ROHR, Mrs. Chester L. (Grace) - After a lengthy illness, Grace Lillian Perrin, passed away at the K-W Hospital, on Sunday, November 5, 1978, in her 65th year.

    She was a daughter of the late Wellington Perrin and the former Emma Good. With her ever ready smile, which gave rest to the weary and sunshine to the sad, she peacefully slept away.

    She leaves to mourn, her husband, Chester L. Rohr, of 9 Queen St. E., Conestogo, whom she married in 1937. Of this union there is six children: Patricia (Mrs. Camille Gaudet) and Marlene (Mrs. Franklin Jonas), both of Conestogo, Marjorie Martin, along with her friend, Gordon Neil of Kitchener, Bonnie (Mrs. Clifford Ziegler) of Kitchener, Rev. Clinton C. Rohr and his wife, Sandra, of Oakville, and Terrance L. Rohr and his wife, Gilla of Waterloo. She will be lovingly remembered by 17 grandchildren. In bereavement, Mrs. Rohr leaves four sisters and three brothers; Hilda (Mrs. Hilton Pride) of Waterloo, Eva (Mrs. William Clarke) of Kitchener, Ruth (Mrs. Leonard Kaster) of Waterloo, Ruby (Mrs. Douglas Litwiller) of Kitchener, Howard Perrin of Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, Lloyd of Palmerston and Cecil of Flesherton. Also survived by her aunt, Mrs. William Stockfish of Kitchener and by her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. John Good of Sebringville.

    A member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Conestogo, and the Lutheran Church Women

    Friends may call at the Ratz- Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 7 p.m. tonight, until 11 a.m., on Wednesday, when removal will be made to St. Matthew's Church, Conestogo, for the service at 2:30 p.m., with Rev. Jan E. Malina officiating. Interment in the adjoining cemetery. Donations to the Canadian. Cancer Society or the Hymnal Fund of St. Matthew's Church, Conestogo, may be made as expressions of sympathy.

    RUTH (SCHIEDEL) KASTER nee Perrin 1915 - 2008 Passed away peacefully, at the Village of Winston Park, Kitchener, on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at the age of 93 years. Beloved wife of Leonard Kaster for 37 years. Loving mother of Betty and Peter Erb of Waterloo, John and Kelly Schiedel of Waterloo, Barbara and Terry Patten of Vancouver, BC, Dan and Adele Schiedel of Burlington, and her step-children, Gordon and Frances Kaster of Maryhill, Don and Debbie Kaster of Shakespeare, and Richard and Anne Kaster of Pointe au Baril. Survived by her sisters-in-law, Doris Perrin, Margaret Reinhart, Ilene and Ronald Huber and her brothers-in-law, Lloyd Schiedel, Walter and Esther Kaster, Mel Pitz. She will also be deeply missed by her 15 grandchildren, Catharine Erb, Suzanne Erb and Douglas Funk, Bonnie Schiedel and Darren Elder, Michael Schiedel and Alexandra Magnussen, Scott Patten and Lea Elliott, Kristin Patten and Benji Kamera, Trevor Schiedel, Bryan Schiedel, Lori and Andy Robinson, Jane and Bill Gee, Kelly Campbell, Bethany Kaster, Rebecca Kaster, Jennifer Kaster, Kris and Lauren Kaster; her 10 great-grandchildren, Leanna and Jillian Erb Funk, Caitlyn and Jeran Schiedel Magnussen, Mika and Claire Patten, Kefira Kamera, Michaelah and Shania Robinson, Jessica Campbell, and by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Wellington and Emma (Good) Perrin, her first husband, Earl Schiedel who died in 1962, and all of her siblings: Harvard (Lillian), Hilda (Hilton) Pride, Eva (William) Clarke, Grace (Chester) Rohr, Lloyd (Margaret), Ruby (Doug) Litwiller, and Cecil, her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ruby and Orie Litwiller, her sisters-in-law, Delores Schiedel and Ruth Pitz, and her brother-in-law, Harold Kaster. Ruth was a member of Bridgeport United Church for over 65 years, where she enjoyed many friendships. Ruth's family have always appreciated her quiet determination and her support and encouragement in their lives. Friends and relatives are invited to share their memories of Ruth with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at the Funeral Home on Thursday, November 27 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Heidi Sievert officiating. A reception will follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the Funeral Home. The family wishes to extend their thanks to Dr. Melanie Carothers and the staff in supportive care at the Village of Winston Park for their loving care.
