    Weber, -- Arthur Louis, son of Allen and the late Sarah (Martin) Weber, was born Oct. 8, 1911, in Waterloo, Ont.; died June 29, 1955; aged 43 y. 8 m. 21 d. He met death by accidental drowning in an unsuccessful effort to rescue his 2 children, Shirley and Richard. He accepted Christ in his youth and united with the Mennonite Church at Strasburg, and later transferring to Erb St. Mennonite Church in Waterloo, where he was a faithful member until his death. He was married to Beulah Bearinger on Feb. 14, 1940. To this union were born 4 children (Shirley, Richard, Linda, and Barbara). He is survived by his wife and 2 children (Linda, 6 and Barbara, 3) , his father, 3 brothers (Oliver, Bloomingdale; Samuel and George, Waterloo), and 4 sisters (Alice-Mrs. Etril Snyder, Waterloo; Tillie-Mrs. Gordon Hunsberger, West Montrose; Clara-Mrs. Roy Snyder, and Florence of Waterloo).

    Arthur married Beulah Bearinger 14 Feb 1940. Beulah (daughter of Ephraim Bearinger and Anna Shantz) was born 1912, , Ontario, Canada; died 16 Feb 2004, Waterloo City, Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada; was buried , Erb Street Mennonite Cemetery, Waterloo City, Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada.     Weber, -- Shirley Elizabeth, daughter of Arthur and Beulah (Bearinger) Weber, was born Feb. 12, 1943; passed away suddenly from this life by drowning along with her father and brother on June 29, 1955; aged 12 y. 4 m. 17 d. She attended Erb Street Mennonite Church faithfully and was a member of the Sunshine Band. Richard and Shirley are survived by their mother, 2 sisters (Linda and Barbara), grandparents (Allen Weber, and Ephraim and Annie Bearinger), and many other relatives and friends. Joint services were held for the father and two children on July 3 at the Erb Street Mennonite Church in charge of Jesse Martin, assisted by Clare Shantz. Interment was made in the Erb Street Mennonite Cemetery.

    Weber, Barbara, daughter of Arthur and Beulah Weber, was born at Kitchener, Ont., Jan. 24, 1952; died at the K-W Hospital, Apr. 17, 1968; aged 16 y. 2 m. 24 d. Surviving are her mother and one sister (Linda Jane). Her father, one sister (Shirley), and one brother (Richard) preceded her in death. Funeral services were held at the Erb Street Church, Apr. 19, with Milton Schwartzentrjber and J. B. Martin officiating.1a
