MARTIN, Elmer S.W. - On Sunday, Sept. 24, 2006 at Caressant Care, Fergus. Elmer S.W. Martin in his 81st year of RR 1, Elora.Beloved husband of Luella (Bowman) Martin. Father of Merlyn and Alice Martin of Westmeath, Lawrence and Arlene Martin of Fergus, Delford and Marlene Martin of Floradale, Vernal and Ellen Martin of Elmira, Murray and Shirley Martin of Atwood, Lester and Lucille Martin of Elora, Marian and Donald Frey of Moorefield. Also survived by 35 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Brother of Elsie and William Bauman of RR 2, Drayton, Mildred and Elo Bowman of RR 2, Wallenstein, Leona and Isaac Brubacher of RR 1, Wallenstein, Willard and Lorraine Martin of Lethbridge, Alta., Lloyd and Brenda Martin of Fergus.Predeceased by his parents, Lincoln and Elvina (Shoemaker) Martin; one sister; one brother and 1 great-grandchild.The family will receive friends and relatives at Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Tuesday from 1-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A family service will be held at his home, RR 1, Elora on Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. then to Maple View Mennonite Meeting House for further public service and burial in the adjoining cemetery.
