    SAMUEL GERBER

    Samuel Gerber, 68, of Wellesley, died Thursday, February 14 at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener.

    Born in Wellesley Township, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Gerber.

    He farmed in Wellesley Township, retiring in 1969, and was a member of the Maple View Mennonite Church.

    He is survived by his wife, the former Edna Bast; two daughters, Mrs. Hans (Florence) Rasmussin of Milverton, Mrs. Arnold (Kathleen) Steckly, R.R. 1 Bluevale; four brothers, John, Daniel and Chris, all of Wellesley and David of New Hamburg; five sisters, Mrs. John W. (Mary) Jantzi of Millbank, Mrs. David W. (Annie Jantzi, Mrs. Daniel (Lena) Brenneman, both of R.R. 1 Wellesley, Mrs. Ezra (Emma) Steckly, and Mrs. Ezra (Katie) Steckly both of Wellesley; and four grandchildren.

    The body rested at the Futher funeral home, Wellesley, until noon Saturday when removal was made to the Maple View Mennonite Church for the service at 2: 30 p.m. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
