Beloved wife of 65 years of Arthur Israel of Waterloo, loving mother of Arlene and Walter Koch of Kitchener; dear grandmother of Denise (Steven) Dietrich and Valerie Ullman and great-grandmother of Jeremy, Jason, Kyle and Kraig Dietrich, Jesse, Emily and Jacob Ullman; sister of Arthur and Iris Reist of Boulter, Ont., Laura an Levi Nicklas of Tavistock. Predeceased by her parents, Noah and Margarethe (Geisel) Reist; four brothers, Nester, Lorne, Hilbert and Howard and one sister, Aleda Schierholtz. Hilda was a lifelong member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Elmira. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At 9 a.m. Saturday transfer will be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Elmira for funeral service at 11 a.m., with Rev. Richard Frey officiating followed by interment in Elmira Union Cemetery.
