    GINGRICH, Omer S. - Peacefully, on Friday, September 15, 2006, at St. Mary's Hospital. Omer S. Gingrich, age 80 years, of RR1, Elmira.Dear husband of Ellen (Martin) Gingrich. Father of Lena Gingrich of Floradale and Earl and Irene Gingrich of RR1, Elmira. Also survived by six grandchildren. Brother of Ion and Viola Gingrich, Melinda Gingrich, all of RR1, Elmira and Elvina Martin of RR2, Wallenstein.Predeceased by his parents, Seranus and Magdalena (Shoemaker) Gingrich; one sister in infancy and brother-in-law Laverne Martin.Visitation will be from his home, RR1, Elmira (today) Saturday from 2-7 p.m. and Sunday from 12 noon - 7 p.m. where funeral service will be held on Monday, September 18, 2006 at 9 a.m. then to North Woolwich Mennonite Meeting House for further service and burial in the adjoining cemetery.Arrangements entrusted to the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira.

    MARTIN, Elvina Passed away on Monday, September 4, 2017 at the Guelph General Hospital in her 91st year. Elvina (Gingrich) Martin was the wife of the late Laverne Martin (2004). Mother of Orlan and Ella of RR 2 Drayton, Annie and Lorne Burkhart of RR 1 Wallenstein, Orvie and Eileen of RR 2 Drayton, Ernie and Sharon of RR 2 Alma, Eileen and Albert Frey of RR 1 Palmerston, Melvin and Shirley, of RR 2 Wallenstein, and Wilma and Wayne Brubacher of RR 1 Wallenstein. Also survived by 47 grandchildren, 71 great-grandchildren, one brother-in-law Wilfred and Vera Martin, and one stepsister-in-law Sarah Brubacher. She was predeceased by a daughter Mary in infancy, three great-grandchildren, her parents Seranus and Magdalena (Shoemaker) Gingrich, two brothers, two sisters (one in infancy) and 6 stepsisters. Friends may call at the home of Melvin Martin, 7585 Fourth Line RR 2 Wallenstein on Wednesday, September 6, 2016 from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. The family service will be from the home on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 9 a.m., then to Olivet Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service. Dear father of Amsey (Wilma) of RR 3, Mount Forest, Vera (Luke) Martin of RR 2, Kenilworth, Leonard (Betty), Ruth Gingrich, and Verna Gingrich, all of RR 1, Elmira, Allen (Anna) of RR 2, Drayton, Marvin (Loreen) of RR 4, Kenilworth, and Lester (Shirley) of RR 1, Elmira. Grandfather of 48 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 8 step-great-grandchildren. Brother of Elvina (Mrs. Laverne) Martin. Predeceased by his parents Seranus and Magdalena (Shoemaker) Gingrich, a sister in infancy, sister Melinda Gingrich, brother Omer (Ellen) Gingrich, brother-in-law Laverne Martin, a great-grandson, and daughter-in-law Esther Gingrich. Visitation will take place at the home of Leonard and Betty Gingrich, 5710 Arthur St. N., RR 1, Elmira, on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 12: 30-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A family service will be held at the home on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 9 a.m., then to North Woolwich Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service. Arrangements entrusted to Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira.
