    Notes:

    Mrs. Mary E. Edgar passed away at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Saturday, February 6th, 1982 after a lengthy illness. She was in her 75th year. Mrs. Edgar was a lifelong resident of the Ayr district. She was a member of Knox United Church and was active in the work of the U.C.W. and the Ayr Women's Institute. Prior to her marriage she was employed in the office of the Hecker H-O company for many years. Daughter of the late Murdo McRae and Agnes Guthrie, Mrs. Edgar is survived by two sisters, Jean McRae of Ayr and Florence (Mrs. Douglas) Perry of RR 2, Paris, and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She was predeceased by her husband George Edgar in 1961. Funeral service was held at the Wm. Paris Funeral Home, Paris, on Monday, February 8th with Rev. George Saunders of Ayr officiating. Interment was made in the Ayr Cemetery.
