    At her residence, Piper St., Ayr, on Saturday, Feb. 26, 1972, in her 82nd year, Margaret Wallace Black, beloved wife of Earnest A. Cochrane and dear mother of Mrs. Leslie (Mary) Donovan of Kitchener, Alden of Ayr, George, Mississauga and John of Brantford; sister of Miss Elizabeth and Miss Mary Black, both of Ayr; eight grandchildren. Resting at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 11 Jury St., Paris, where service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 29, at 2 p.m., interment in Ayr cemetery.

    DONOVAN, Mary E. (nee Cochrane) - After a brief illness, at St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener, on Monday August 6, 2007, of Kitchener, formerly of Ayr, in her 91st year. Mary was a graduate of Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital School of Nursing and a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Kitchener. Beloved wife of the late Leslie (1988); loved mother to MaryAnn of Kitchener; dear sister to John Cochrane (Sarah) of Brantford. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Earnest and Margaret, and brothers, Eldon (Beth) and George (Madeline). Friends may call at the Ayr Chapel Wm. Kipp Funeral Home , 183 Northumberland St., Ayr, on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services to be held in at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 54 Queen St. N., Kitchener, on Friday at 1 p.m. Interment Ayr Cemetery. Donations to the Royal Canadian Benevolent Fund, The Lung Association or St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church TV Ministries would be appreciated.     George R. Cochrane

    George Robert Cochrane of Cambridge, passed away Friday, October 27, 1995 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. He was in his 75th year. Born in Ayr, he was a son of the late Ernest Cochrane and Maggie Black. Mr. Cochrane was a retired high school teacher. He was a member of Trinity Anglican Church in Cambridge. Beloved husband of the late Madeline Annie (nee Shaw), dear father of Douglas and his wife Barbara of Vancouver, B.C., and Dianne and her husband Robert Woodward of Calgary, Alberta. Loved grandfather of Dawn, Katherine, Amy and Stephen. Dear brother of Mary Donovan of Kitchener, Alden Cochrane of Ayr and John Cochrane of Brantford. Predeceased by a granddaughter Jenny Cochrane. Rested at Coutts and Son Funeral Home, Cambridge, then to Trinity Anglican Church where funeral service was held Monday. Interment Mt. View Cemetery, Cambridge.
