    SCHWARTZENTRUBER, Erlis - Erlis Schwartzentruber, 84, of Tavistock, passed away, in Stratford General Hospital, on Friday, January 24, 2003.He was born in Wilmot township, Waterloo County, on July 13, 1918, a son of the late Peter Schwartzentruber and the former Katie Brenneman. Erlis had farmed in the township of East Zorra-Tavistock on his farm known as Telview Holsteins where he was a breeder of registered holstein cattle for more than 40 years. He was a member of Tavistock Mennonite Church.He is survived by his wife, the former Mildred Eileen Drudge, whom he married in Waterloo on May 15, 1954; three daughters, Gloria Schwartzentruber and her husband Michael Rumball and their son Christian of Toronto, Sonya Schwartzentruber and her husband Jim Bender and their children Jill and Ann of New Hamburg, Jenny Myers and her husband David and their children Wesley and Lauren of Stratford; one son, Larry Schwartzentruber and his wife Julie and their children Meghan, Ashley and Emily of RR 2 Tavistock; one brother, Stanley Swartzentruber and his wife Selma of Kitchener; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Lettie Wagler of Goderich, Raymond Drudge and Gladys Indoe, both of Kitchener, Ruth Golbeck and Erma Drudge, both of Waterloo, along with several nieces and nephews.Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Alice Wagler and his brothers-in-law, Elvin Drudge, Harold Golbeck and Lloyd Indoe.Relatives and friends will be received in Tavistock Mennonite Church, Tavistock, today (Monday) from 4-7 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2003 at 11 a.m. Pastor Darrel Toews will officiate. Interment in East Zorra Mennonite Cemetery, 16th line. As expressions of sympathy, donations to MCC Heifer Project or the Canadian Food Grains Bank would be appreciated and may be made through the Francis Funeral Home, 77 Woodstock St. N., Tavistock by calling 655-2431 or at the church during visitation.
