    Notes:

    Knechtel - Mr. George Alberta Edward Knechtel, of Calgary, passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, December 19, 1994 at the age of 84 years. George is survived by two sons, John Knechtel of Vancouver and Murray Knechtel of Calgary; one daughter Pat Norris of Edmonton; and four grandchildren, Laura Knechtel of Vancouver, Peter, Dan and Claire Knechtel, all of Calgary. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends. George was predeceased by his wife Mildred in 1982 and his brother Bert in 1981. George had worked with Burns Foods for over fifty-five years retiring as Corporate Secretary. He was a Pioneer Senior Active in the Rotary Club and had been a member of the Masonic Lodge in Ontario. Funeral Servies will be held at Christ Church Elbow Park (3602 8 Street S.W.), on Thursday, December 22, 1994 at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. William Pike officiating. Interment to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens (17 Avenue S.E. at Garden Road).
