    Mrs. Ada Totzke

    Mrs. Ada Totzke, 59, of 528 Park St. died at the K-W Horpital yesterday. Born at Chesley, May 3, 1892, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John P. Becker. Her husband, Oscar H. Totzke, predeceased her in De- cember 1949. She was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church.

    She is survived by three sons, Robert, Waterloo, Howard and George, Kitchener; one daughter, Eunice Totzke, Kitchener. She is also survived by a brother Lorne H. Becker, Kitchener, and two sisters, Mrs. Andrew Rehkopf, Kitchener and Mrs. Howard M. Meyer, Hackensack, N.J. She leaves two grandchildren.

    The funeral will be held from St. Matthew's Church at 3 p.m. Friday. Rev. John Schmieder will conduct the services. Interment will take place in Mount Hope Cemetery. The body is resting at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home. until 1 p.m. Friday when removal will be made to the church.

    TOTZKE, Miss Eunice F. At K-W Hospital, on Saturday, June 13, 1987, after a brief illness, age 71 years, of 528 Park St., Kitchener.

    Miss Totzke had been employed at the Waterloo Music Co. Limited for 50 years, and for the past number of years she was executive secretary to the president. She was a former member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church.

    Dear sister of Howard and his wife Jill of Kitchener and Lloyd and his wife Carol of Waterloo She is also fondly remembered by her sister-in- law, Mrs. Martha Totzke of Waterloo; seven nieces and nephews and six great-nieces and nephews and her special friend, Bill Brubacher.

    Predeceased by one brother, Robert and her parents, Ada and Oscar Totzke.

    The funeral service was held this afternoon (Monday), in the chapel of the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, with Rev. Dr. Barton Beglo officiating. Interment to follow in Mount Hope cemetery, Kitchener.

    TOTZKE, HOWARD - Of Grand Bend, passed away peacefully, at South Huron Hospital (Exeter), on Thursday, February 21, 2008. He was in his 86th year. Howard was the well known proprietor of Waterloo Bowling Lanes for over 45 years until his retirement. He is survived by his brother, Lloyd and his wife Carol of Waterloo; his sister-in-law, Martha Totzke of Waterloo; nieces and nephews and their families, Laurie Kitchen and Jenny Schmidt of Kitchener, Alan Totzke and John Totzke of Waterloo, Heather Kyle of St. Catharines and Stephen Totzke of Delta, B.C. Howard is also remembered by his special friends, Gerry Roeder of Waterloo and Fadhil Askar of Grand Bend. Predeceased by his parents, Oscar and Ada; his brother, Bob; sister, Eunice and niece, Marilyn Waters. Howard was also a member of the Army for three years in the Second World War, serving in various Ontario postings. At Howard's request, there will be no visitation or service.     Lloyd got behind the wheel of the bus and departed from Freeport Hospital for his final journey on Wednesday, January 26, 2011. He was in his 83rd year.

    Left behind with wonderful memories is the love of his life for 57 years, his wife Carol and children Laurie (Rick) Kitchen, Jennifer (Kevin) Schmidt both of Kitchener, Heather (Tom) Kyle of St Catharines and Alan of Waterloo.

    Proud grandpa to Michael, Stephen and Benjamin Kitchen, Adam and Laura Schmidt all of Kitchener, and Matthew and Lindsay Kyle of St. Catharines

    Also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law Rowene and Bob Harlock, Brian and Darlene Reiner and Martha Totzke and families.
    The last surviving member of his family, Lloyd is re-united with his parents Oscar and Ada, and brothers, Robert and Howard and sister Eunice.

    A life-long KW resident, Lloyd started his working career in the Real Estate and Insurance business. Later he spent many happy years driving bus where he met people from all over.

    Lloyd volunteered his many talents a long time member of St Marks Lutheran Church and as a member of KW Wing 404
    A big hearted and well spoken family man, Lloyd touched many people in his life. His frequent letters-to-the-editor will be missed by many who looked forward to reading his latest submission.

    Lloyd's family would like to thank the compassionate care received at both K-W and Freeport hospital and the visiting nurses from CCAC who lovingly tended to him over his last few months.

    The family of Lloyd Totzke will receive relatives and friends on Friday, January 28th, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener and will continue from 10-10:45 am on Saturday at St. Mark's Lutheran Church.

    The funeral service will take place at 11 AM on Saturday, January 29th, 2011 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 825 King St. W., Kitchener followed by a reception.
