Tobin, Rita F. - Went home to be with the Lord, on Sunday, June 25, 1989, the former Rita Florence Weiss, of 130 Lincoln Road, Waterloo, age 73 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Beloved mother of Michael and his wife Leah of Rosemere, Que., Maureen and her husband Gary Thornton of Palgrave; dear sister of Evelyn Ruhlman of Waterloo; loving grandmother to Ryan and Alicia, Daniel, Timothy and Matthew. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews, Lynne and Larry Reichert, Tim and Ruth, Phillip and Hilde Ruhlman, Roger and Gale Pryce, Jane and Maurizio Iacino. Predeceased by her parents, Harvey Weiss and Martha Bierwagen; her husband, Fergus, in 1956. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 7 p.m. this evening (Monday) and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday. Removal will be made to First Baptist Church, on Wednesday at 9 a.m., where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., with Pastor Ken Taylor officiating. Internment will be in Memory Gardens cemetery. Donations to the Salvation Army or the CCTCU of Victoria Hospital, London, Ont., may be made as expressions of sympathy.
