    Mrs. Edgar Sattler

    Mrs. Edgar Sattler, 52, of 5 Dunbar Rd. North, Waterloo, died today at the K-W Hospital after an illness of three months. Born in Waterloo, she was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and of the Ladies Aid. She was a daughter of the late Louis Lenz and Catherine Conrad.

    Surviving besides her husband are a son, Carl, at home; two brothers, Fred Lenz of Waterloo and Haorld of California. A sister predeceased her.

    The body will be at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, Waterloo, until Thursday at 12:45 p.m. when removal will be made to St. John's Church. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. A. L. Conrad officiating. Interment will be at Waterloo Mount Hope Cemetery.

    Friends are asked to pay their respects prior to the service.

    Lorraine married Edgar Henry Sattler 28 Sep 1926, Waterloo City, Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada.     SATTLER, Carl H. Passed away peacefully, at his residence, on Thursday, December 25, 2003, at the age of 73 years.

    Beloved husband of Marjorie (nee Heron); dear father of Gail Wolfe and her husband Kevin of Heidelberg, Brad of Waterloo and Lisa of Waterloo, Bonnie Dawe and her husband Laurie of Peterborough; loving grandfather of Alicia, Chris and Michael Wolfe, Amber and Jade Sandy, Hayden and Allanah Sattler, Brian and Kevin Dawe; also remembered by cousins, Marjorie Lenz and Catherine Salmen; sisters and brothers-in-law, Gloria (Ray) Douglas, Bob (Clara) Heron, Jim (Mary) Heron, Betty (Ted) Maker, Lynn (Gus) Whibbs, Ralph (Nora) Heron and Julia (Don) Potter and many nieces and nephews.

    Predeceased by his parents, Edgar Sattler and Lorraine Lenz.

    Carl was born in Waterloo and was a longtime businessman who specialized in cars, stereo equipment and started the Mr. Stereo Stores. After retirement he bought and sold used cars which were a lifetime passion.

    Friends are invited to share their memories of Carl with his family at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S.. Waterloo, (today) Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Carl's life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, December 29, 2003 at 2 p.m. Interment in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.

    Brad Sattler

    Passed away after a seven year struggle with cancer and diabetes on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at the Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age of 51.

    Brad will be sadly missed by his children, Hayden and Allanah, whom he adored; his devoted mother, Marj Sattler; treasured sisters, Gail (Kevin) Wolfe, Lisa Sattler and Bonnie (Laurie) Dawe. He is lovingly remembered by his caring and supportive aunts and uncles, especially his Aunt Marjorie Lenz as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

    Predeceased by his father, Carl Sattler in 2003. Like his dad he had a well known passion for cars, especially their shared love for the MG.

    He is also survived by his children's mother, Daphne Hogan.

    Special thanks goes to the staff at Benny's Family Restaurant, where Brad went for his favourite breakfast and was always greeted with a smile. Thank you also to Dr. Bob Stephens and nurse, Cathy, Dr. Jakda and nurse, Martha, Dr. Irwin, Dr. Donna Ward, his Homecare Nurses, especially Heather, Trisha and Jennifer and the Freeport Nurses, especially Rita and Stephanie, as well as his hospice friend, Chuck.

    Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Thursday, October 7, 2010 from 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. The funeral service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 a.m., the Rev. Paul Hartig officiating. Reception will follow the service in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. Interment in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
