    Notes:

    Mrs. C. Irvin Stoltz of RR 4, Kitchener died today at the K-W hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 82.

    Mrs. Stoltz was the former Clara Bauman, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter S. Bauman. She was born at Zurich, Ont., and had been. a resident of the Twin City area for 52 years.

    Along with her husband, she farmed at RR 4, Kitchener, for many years.

    She was a member of St. James' Lutheran Church, Manheim, the Lutheran Church Women and the Elmdale Women's Institute.

    She was predeceased by her husband in 1943.

    Surviving are one son, G. Garfield of RR 4, Kitchener; six daughters, Mrs. James (Gladys) Walker and Mrs. George (Ferne) March, both of Hamilton, Mrs. William (Orkney) Veitel of Toronto; Mrs. Ward (Dorothy) Weber of Baden, Mrs. James (Ludena) Wiltse of Waterloo and Mrs. Ralph (Miriam) Quehl of Wellesley; 19 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

    She was the last surviving member of her family and was predeceased by six brothers and one sister.

    The body will be at the Ratz-Bechtel. Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Saturday until noon Mon-day. The service will be conducted at St. James Church by Roy. Richard Holm at 3 p.m. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.

    Surrounded with love, at The Village of Winston Park, on Monday, December 5, 2016 in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late James Wiltse (1989), Ludena will be lovingly remembered by her son Bruce Wiltse (Geraldine). She leaves precious memories with her grandchildren Wendy Miller (Fred) and Chris Wiltse, and with her great grandchildren Michaella, Mackenzie, Katlyn and Brayden. Predeceased by; her sons Gary and Terry, her brother Garfield, and her sisters Gladys, Orkney, Fern, Miriam and Dorothy. Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful caregivers at The Village of Winston Park for their diligent care during Ludena's stay with them. Family and friends will be received at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S. (at Westmount Rd.) on Thursday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be in the Westmount Chapel at 2:00 p.m., fellowship and refreshments will follow. Private interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Dream Wish Project at Winston Park, Wasser Pain Management Centre or Research In Aging are gratefully appreciated.

    STOLTZ, G. Garfield - Following a courageous battle with cancer, G. Garfield Stoltz, was called home with the Lord, on Wednesday, Nov. 18,1987, in his 64th year.

    Loving husband of the former Reta Kurt and will be lovingly missed by his family, Gerald and his wife Linda of Baden, Wayne and his wife Joanne of Palmerston, Keith and his wife Jane of Listowel, Kevin and his wife Sheli of Petersburg and Marlin and his wife Diane of Listowel and 12 grandchildren. Predeceased by his only daughter, Lou Ann in 1985 and one sister, Ferne. Dear brother of Gladys, Orkney, Dorothy, Ludena and Miriam.

    Mr. Stoltz was born, raised and worked on the family farm at RR 4, Kitchener, till present day; was a life long member of St. James Lutheran Church, Mannheim, where he served as Sunday School Superintendent and was treasurer and church councilman for many years; a chartered Member of the Mannheim Optimist club and has been actively involved as a vendor at the Kitchener Farmer's Market for more than 40 years.

    The family will receive friends at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, f001 Ottawa St. S. (at Westmount Rd.), Kitchener, from 7-9 p.m. Thursday (today) and Friday from 2.4 and 7•9 p.m. Removal will be made to St. James Lutheran Church, Mannheim, at noon Saturday, Nov. 21; where service will be held at 2 p.m., with Rey. Doug Reble officiating, Interment to follow in the adjoining church cemetery.

She was a daughter of the late Irvin Stoltz and the late Clara Bowman. She was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Wellesley, where she taught Sunday school for many years. Mrs. Quehl was also a 4H leader in Wellesley. Beloved wife of Ralph R. Quehl of RR 3, Wellesley; dear mother of Sandra Quehl of Waterloo, Sherry Quehl of Edmonton; loving sister of Orkney (Mrs. Bill Veitel) of Toronto, Dorothy and her husband Ward Weber of Milverton, Ludena (Mrs. Jim Wiltse) of Waterloo; beloved cousin of Doris Wagner of Haysville. She was predeceased by two sisters , Gladys Walker and Ferne March and one brother, Garfield Stoltz. Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St., Wellesley, where the family will receive friends today (Monday) 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At noon, Tuesday, Feb. 18, removal will be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church for the funeral service at 2 p.m., Pastor Wilmer Minke and Intern Peter Lurvey will officiate. Interment in Memory Gardens, Breslau.

    Lou-Ann Brown Lou-Ann Brown of RR 1, Ayr, passed away Sunday, March 31st, 1985 at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Born in Kitchener on July 16th, 1948, she was in her 37th year. Lou-Ann had been a resident of RR 1, Ayr since her marriage in 1970 and was a member ,4 St. John's United Church, Cambridge. She is survived by her husband Robert (Bob) Brown., two sons, Carson and Kurt, both at home and one daughter Amanda at home. Her parents, Garfield and Reta Stoltz of Kitchener also survive as well as five brothers, Gerald of St. Agatha, Wayne of Palmerston, Keith of Listowel, Kevin of Baden and Marlin of Kitchener. Funeral and committal services were held from the funeral chapel at Coutts and Son on Wednesday, April 3rd at 2 p.m. Interment in Ayr Cemetery.
