    At the residence of her son-in-law, William Jahnckle of R. R. #2, Preston, early on Wednesday morning, February 8, 1950. Wife of the late Robert Burmaster. She was born in Kenilworth, ON and lived for many years in Puslinch Township. For the past ten years, she lived with her son-in-law. Mrs. Burmaster was a Presbyterian. Surviving are two daughters, Mary (Mrs. Wesley Kearns) of Puslinch; Rosie (Mrs. William Jahncke; four sons, Robert and Percy of Galt; Sylvester and Gordon of R. R. #1, Hespeler; one brother, William Hellyer of Kennilworth; three sisters, Mrs. Annie Sault of Valens; Mrs. Mary Cassidy of St. Catharines; and Mrs. Mabel Davies of Aylmer. Funeral service at the W. R. Coutts Funeral Home in Galt on Sat. , Feb 11 at 2. Interment in Killean Cemetery.

    BURMASTER, SYLVESTER

    At the Cambridge Memorial Hospital in Cambridge, on Sunday, September 13, 1992, in his 88th year. Father of Lewis of Ottawa; Marlen (Mrs. Frank Berardine) of Guelph; and Carol of Cambridge. Also survived by nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a brother, Percy in Florida. Predeceased by his first wife, Elsie Zimmerman and his second wife, Edna McIntosh, two brothers and three sisters. Mr. Burmaster was born in Puslinch Township and lived all his life in Cambridge, retired from Domtar, Ltd. A private family service was held at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd. in Cambridge on Tues. , Sept. 15. Interment in Parklawn Cemetery.

Father of Gordon and his wife, Janice; Glen and his wife, Diane; Thelma (Mrs. William Hubbard), all of Cambridge; Sharon (Mrs. Cal Wallace) of McDonald Corners, ON. Brother of Sylvester of Cambridge; Percy and his wife, Winnie of Florida; Rosina "Rosie" Jahnke and Mary Kerns, both of Cambridge. Grandfather of Lori, Vicki, Andrea, Shelley and James. Predeceased by his sister, Isobel Parker; and brother, Robert. Mr. Burmaster had formerly been employed as a stationary engineer for Domtar. Funeral at the Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St. in Cambridge on Sat. , Dec. 16 at 1: 30. Interment Killean Cemetery.

    HILBORN, Mary E. - At her residence, RR 32, Cambridge, on Friday, Nov 27, 1992, suddenly, as the result of a heart attack, the former Mary Elizabeth Jahncke, age 68 years.

    Mary was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church at Shantz Station and a member of the ELW of the church and the Maple Groves Women's Institute.

    Wife of Russell; mother of Daniel and his wife Debbie and Darlene, all at home. Three granddaughters, Mellisa, Danielle and Chantel also survive.

    Predeceased by her parents, William Jahncke and Rosina Burmaster and one brother, Charles in infancy.

    Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today (Monday) until 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, when removal will be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, where the funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., with Pastor L. Eberhardt officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
