Formerly of Laurel Street, Cambridge (Preston), at the Golden Years Nursing Home, Tuesday, January 18, 1977, Ethel Mae Bauman, beloved wife of the late Reuben Panabaker; and dear mother of Arthur of Port Perry, Glen of Kitchener, Catherine (Mrs. I. Woolner) of Parry Sound, Jane (Mrs. John Holland) of Cambridge, Ruby (Mrs. W. Ross) of Kitchener, Peggy (Mrs. A. M. Hunt) of Kitchener, June (Mrs. R. L. Woodall) of Mississauga, in her 91st year. Mrs. Panabaker was born in Doon and had lived in Cambridge and area, all her fife. A member of Knox Presbyterian Church. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A private family service was conducted this afternoon, Wednesday, at Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge (Preston). Interment in Preston cemetery.

PANABAKER, Glendon "Glen" - Passed away peacefully, on February 20, 2007, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the Late Doris Elliot (2006) of 63 years. Glen will be sadly missed by his sister Marion Hunt (Peggy), his sister-in-law Margaret Panabaker, his brother-in-law Ronald Woodall and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters and brother Katherine (Manny) Woolner, Jane (Jack) Holland, Ruby (Bill) Ross, Arthur Panabaker and June Woodall, also predeceased by his brother-in-law A.M. (Mel) Hunt, also by his sister-in-law Ivy Stoner (Ross). Glen was a longtime employee of the Dominion Grocery stores and was a founding member of St. James Rosemount United Church, Kitchener. A private interment has taken place at Woodland Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the chapel at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King Street W., Kitchener. HUNT, Marion M. "Peggy" (nee Panabaker) Passed away peacefully on September 4, 2012, at 88 years of age. Beloved wife of the late A. Melville (Mel) Hunt, 2004. Loving and devoted mother of Roger Hunt (Debora Smith) and Janis Wittig (David). Dear "Nan" of Erin Hunt (Chris Dienesch), Bradley Hunt, Rebecca Hunt, and Cara Lizzotti; Jonathan Wittig (Karen Choy), and Andrew Wittig (Carla). Also survived by her sister-in-law Margaret Panabaker; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Peggy was born in Doon, Ontario on May 14, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Rueben and Ethel Panabaker (nee Bowman). Peggy was the last surviving member of her family being predeceased by her siblings, Kae Woolner, Art Panabaker, Glen Panabaker, Jane Holland, Ruby Ross, and June Woodall. Peggy and Mel shared a wonderful and fulfilling life together, they travelled extensively and made lifelong friends worldwide. They cherished special times with family and friends at their cottage in Kincardine. Peggy was a founding member of Forest Hill United Church and active in the community and a proud lifelong supporter of Pride Stables.
