Albert Marth, 172 Queen street north, Waterloo, died Monday morning after an illness of about six weeks. Mr. Marth had been in poor health since suffering an injury a few years ago.

He was 65 years of age. Born in Buffalo, he had been a resident of Waterloo for 35 years. He had been in the employ of the town for about 20 years. He was member of the Canadian Order of Foresters.

Surviving are his wife, one son, William of Glenallen, three daughter Mrs. H. Mueller of. Detroit Mrs. Oscar Doster of Windsor, and Mrs. V. L. Kramer; Waterloo; two brothers, George Marth, Waterloo, and Herbert Marth of New Hamburg; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Huddelmaier and Mrs. T. Lismer, Waterloo, and Mrs. Henry Reiha, New Hamburg, and 12 grand-children.

The funeral was held Wednesday from the Letter and Dreisinger Funeral Home to Mount Hope cemetery for interment.

Mrs. Amy Dead

After years of suffering from asthma borne with Christian patience, there passed away on Tuesday in her 39th ear, Lillie Marth, beloved wife of Mr. Oliver Amy. Deceased was born in Buffalo, N.Y., but spent most of her life in these parts. In 1907 she was married to her now bereaved husband and they have lived in Elmira ever since. Two children, one nine years and the other four months old, are left motherless. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Homer Hind and Mrs. Chas Hudelmaier, and two brothers, Albert and George, all of Waterloo. Numerous and beautiful floral tributes testify to the high esteem in which deceased was held. The funeral takes place this afternoon. The sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved ones.

George Marth of 44 Onward Ave., died Sunday at the K-W Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was 88. Born in New Hamburg, he was a cabinet maker at Canada Cabinet and Furniture Ltd. of Waterloo for 18 years. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and the Canadian Order of Foresters. Surviving besides his wife, the former Betty Boardman, are one son, Walter in the United States; three daughters, Mrs. Albert (Frieda) Nutter and Mrs. Arnold (Irene) Schnarr, both of Waterloo, and Mrs. Louise (Hilda) McNaughton of Hespeler; one sister, Mrs. Jacob (Tina) Ebel of Waterloo; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The body is at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home where Rev. Henry Opperman will conduct the service Tuesday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery. Donations to the crippled children's fund will be accepted as expressions of sympathy.
