    HAGEY, A. Leonard

    1913 - 2014. After a very long and eventful life, Len passed into the arms of his Lord quietly, like he lived, at Fairview Mennonite Home. He was 100 years of age, soon to be 101 on Wednesday, February 5, 2014. He is survived by his wife and companion Betty (Woelfle) of 41 years. Loving father of John A. Hagey of Toronto and his partner Brian Howard, supportive father of Betty's children John and his wife Holly Woelfle of Cambridge and daughter the late Anne (Woelfle) Stuckey and her surviving husband Terry Stuckey of Michigan. Loving Pappy to four grandchildren, Matthew and Ashley Stuckey of Indiana, and Leah Stuckey of Illinois. Joshua and Amber Woelfle of Owen Sound, Sarah (Woelfle) and Ryan Orr of Cambridge. Blessed with a great- grandchild, Hayden Woelfle in Owen Sound. Remembered by his nephew Douglas Hagey and his wife Susan and nieces Mary Ellen Hagey all of Cambridge, Margaret and Willis Fancy, Nova Scotia. Predeceased by his wife Kathryn (Bernhardt), his parents Mary Jane (Tatum) and Arthur Hagey, brothers Harry and wives Beth and Elsie, Willard and wife Grace and a sister Irene (infancy). Len was a man of integrity and deep faith in God. A role model to all. Spending many hours mentoring and helping others. He loved both life and people, retiring as sales manager at Ontario Office Outfitters in Kitchener and enjoying raising both cattle and swine. He enjoyed many winters in Barbados as a dedicated volunteer to many causes. He was both a deacon and a teacher of a men's bible class. A WWll Veteran serving in England, France, Belgium, Germany and Holland. A celebration of his life and faith will take place on Saturday, February 22 at 1: 00 p.m., in King Street Baptist Church in Cambridge.

    HAGEY, Harry G. - Of Cambridge, on Sunday, May 25, 2008, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Elsie (Kay) Lucas. Dear father of Douglas and his wife Susan and Mary Ellen Hagey, all of Cambridge. Loving grandfather of Douglas of Waterdown, Christopher of Port Coquitlam, B.C., Karen of London, Ont. and Steven of Toronto. Great-grandfather of James, Jacob and Ella. Survived by one brother, Leonard Hagey and his wife Betty of Cambridge. Predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Mary Jane Hagey; his first wife, Elizabeth; his son, James and his brother, Willard. Mr. Hagey was born in Preston and had been a lifelong resident of the area. He was a longtime member of King Street Baptist Church and was employed at C.O.S.F. for 39 years. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home , 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge today (Tuesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at King Street Baptist Church, 361 King Street, Cambridge on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Victor Lujetic officiating. Interment in Hagey Cemetery, Cambridge.     Of 47 East St., Cambridge (G), at South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Thursday, December 28, 1978, Willard C. (Bill) Hagey, in his 59th year. Beloved husband of Grace Brown; dear father of Robert Charles of Cornwall, William Leonard of Halifax, N.S. and Margaret Patricia (Mrs. Willis Fancy) of Nova Scotia; also survived by his mother, Mrs. Mary Jane Hagey of Cambridge; two brothers, Harry of Brantford and Leonard of Cambridge, and six grandchildren. Mr. Hagey had lived all his life in Cambridge and was an inspector at Franklin Mfg. Co. (Canada) Ltd., Cambridge. A veteran of the Second World War, he served in the navy and was a member of Preston Canadian Legion. Friends will be received at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, Friday evening and Saturday. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home, Saturday, at 4 p.m. Interment in Hagey cemetery.
