    ABRAHAM S. MARTIN

    On Thursday, Jan. 17, 1980, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, aged 70 years, of the Fairview Apartments, Cambridge, formerly of the St. Jacobs district.

    Beloved husband of Marion Hoffman; dear father of Laverne and Howard of Waterloo, Mrs. Lawrence (Martha) Martin of Wallenstein, Edmund of Route 4, Elmira, Mrs. Carl (Ellen) Dettwiler of Route 1, West Montrose, Mrs. Earl (Lorene) Bean of New Dundee, Maurice of Route 1, Miilliken, and James of Chatsworth; brother of Menno, Owen, Mrs. Josiah Wideman and Betty Martin.

    He was predeceased by his first wife, Ellen Bauman in 1969, one son, and one brother.

    Also surviving are 22 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

    Visitation at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, after Friday noon, until Saturday noon, when removal will be made to the St. Jacobs Mennonite Church, for funeral service at 3 p.m.

    Burial in St. Jacobs Mennonite Cemetery.

    Abraham married Ellen S. Bauman 31 Oct 1933. Ellen (daughter of Martin S. Bauman and Susannah Steckle) was born 15 Jul 1905, Waterloo Twp., Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada; died 18 Jan 1969, Kitchener, Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada; was buried , St. Jacobs Mennonite Cemetery, St. Jacobs, Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada.
