    Thomas M. Robson - A long-time Ayr resident, Thomas McRae Robson of RR 1, Ayr, passed away at K-W Hospital on Thursday, October 17th. He was in his 84th year. Born in Blandford Township, he was a son of the late M. M. Robson and Helen Laing. Mr. Robson farmed all his life, for many years at Greenfield. He was a valued member of the Townline Community Club. Beloved husband of Vera Cruickshank; dear brother of Janet McDonald of Cambridge. Predeceased by brothers Donald and Charlie. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Rested at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, Ayr Chapel, where funeral service was held Sunday afternoon. Rev. James. Sider of Kitchener officiated. Interment Ayr Cemetery.

    ROBSON, Thomas    -After a brief illness, in his 84th year, Thomas McRae Robson, of Ayr.

    Beloved husband of Vera Cruickshank; dear brother of Janet McDonald of Cambridge. Predeceased by parents, M.M. Robson and Helen Laing; by brothers, Donald and Charlie. Uncle to many nieces and nephews.

    Friends will be received at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, Ayr Chapel, 273 Northumberland St., Ayr, Saturday, Oct. 19, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where funeral service will be held on Sunday at 3 p.m., Rev. James Sider officiating. Interment, Ayr cemetery.

    Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be gratefully accepted by the family.

    Charles Addison Robson of RR 3, Ayr, passed away at Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday, June 10th in his 77th year. Born in Oxford County, Mr. Robson was a son of the late Murdock McRae Robson and Nellie Laing. He farmed all his life. Mr. Robson was a member of Knox United Church, Ayr. Dear husband of Mary Laurie; beloved father of Mrs. Fred (Anne) Loree of Ayr and Mrs. Robert (Carol) Yule of Cambridge; dear brother of Mrs. Emerson (Janet) McDonald of Cambridge, Donald of RR 3, Ayr and Thomas of RR 1, Ayr; also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Resting at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, Paris today (Wed.) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted by Rev. George Saunders at the funeral home on Thursday at 2 p.m. Interment in Ayr Cemetery.

    A lifelong Ayr area resident Donald Laing Robson of Bute Street, Ayr passed away at Brantford General Hospital on Wednesday, July 18th. He was in his 78th year. Born on the Robson homestead, 9th Conc. Blenheim, RR 3, Ayr where he farmed all his life, he was a son of the late Helen Laing and Murdo Robson. He and his wife retired to Ayr within the past year. Mr. Robson was an active member of the community and Knox United Church. Dearly beloved husband of Muriel Stager, proud father of D. James Robson and Craig McRae Robson. Loving father-in-law of Dragica and Nancy. Cherished grandfather of Jessica, Andrew, Matthew and Meaghan and dear brother of Thomas and Mrs. Janet McDonald. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Charles A. and a grandson, Michael. Rested at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, Paris, where service was conducted by Rev. George Saunders of Ayr on Saturday. Interment Ayr Cemetery.

    Former Ayr resident, Janet Helen (Robson) McDonald, died suddenly at her home in Cambridge on Thursday, November 5th, 1998. Mrs. McDonald was in her 79th year. She was predeceased by her husband Emerson in 1989. Born in Blenheim Township she was a daughter of the late Helen Elizabeth Laing and Murdo McRae Robson. She will be missed by her daughter Marjorie and her husband Larry Ford of Cambridge; son Neil of Princeton; by her grandchildren Marc and his wife Chrystal, Sandy and his wife Sandra and Shaun; seven great-grandchildren; and by her dear friend Christine McDonald of Cambridge. Janet will be also missed by her friends at Kathleen Elliot Court, Cambridge. In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by her brothers Charlie, Tom and Donald Robson. Mr. and Mrs. McDonald lived for several years on Scott Street, Ayr, and had operated McDonald's Transport and McDonald's Garage. Mr. McDonald was a former reeve of the village Funeral service was held at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral home on Sunday, November 8t.h t 3: 00 p.m. Rev. Douglas Willis officiated. Interment was in Ayr Cemetery.
