    Daniel Fleming

    The funeral took place to the Ayr Cemetery on Friday afternoon of the late Daniel Fleming, Lot 11 Concession 8, Blenheim, whose death occurred, suddenly, on Wednesday morning. Mr. Fleming, who was in his 73rd year, had lived in Blenheim all his life. Of a quiet, retiring nature, he did not take an active part in community life, but was a good neighbor. He is survived by his widow (Mary Racknor), two sons, Oliver and Gordon, and one daughter, Miss Christina, also two sisters, Mrs. Murray of Plattsville and Mrs. Lillie Bell of the West.

    Funeral of G. B. Fleming

    A private funeral service for the late Gordon Bowman Fleming was conducted at the H. W. Rumble Funeral Home on Friday afternoon with Rev. A. M. Manson of Drumbo officiating. Mr. Fleming died after a lengthy illness at London, Ont., on Tuesday, Feb. 6, in his 69th year. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Nevin Fleming, and had resided in the Wolverton area. Surviving are one sister, Christina May of London, and one brother, Oliver of Drumbo. Pallbearers were: Schrader Stevenson, Wm. Codlin, Fred Rose, Gordon Ladwig, Stuart Murray and Ray Harmer. Temporary entombment was made in the Drumbo Mausoleum. Interment will be made later in the Ayr Cemetery.

    Oliver Fleming Passes

    Oliver Fleming of 80 Washington Street, Paris, passed away suddenly on Saturday after suffering a heart attack. He was in his 76th year. Born in Blenheim Township, he was a son of the late David Nevin Fleming and Mary Racknor. He farmed on the 8th Concession of Blenheim Township until five years ago. Since that time he has lived in Wolverton, Cathcart, Brantford and more recently, Paris. Mr. Fleming was a member of the Willis United Church, Drumbo, and for many years held the position of clerk of the session. He was a member at Masonic Lodges in Princeton. Paris and Woodstock. The body rested at the B. W. Rumble Funeral Home, Princeton, where a Masonic Memorial service was held on Monday evening. Funeral service was held Tuesday afternoon with Mr. Percy Brown of Willis United Church, Drumbo, officiating. Burial was in Ayr Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ray Harmer, Fred Rose, Roland Heldmann, Leonard Bowes, Fred Wolff and Harry Wight.
