    SAUDER, Mrs. Moses F. (Saloma)

    On Tuesday, May 26. 1987, at K-W Hospital. aged 77 years. of RR 1, Elmira, Saloma Brubacher. Beloved wife of the late Moses F. Sauder (1984). Dear mother of Sydney of Newton, Amsey, Melvin, George and Betty (Mrs. Edwin Martin), all of RR 5, Mount Forest, Nelson of Drayton, Orvie and Lydia Ann (Mrs. Paul Reist), both of Elmira and Salinda (Mrs. John Gingrich) of RR 1, Elmira. Fifty-two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive. Sister of Elvina (Mrs. Enos Martin) of St. Jacobs and Enos of RR 5, Mount Forest. Predeceased by one son, Alvin and four brothers. Friends may call at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Gingrich. RR 1. Elmira. after 9 a.m. on Thursday, where a funeral service will be held on Friday morning at 8: 30 a.m. (standard time), then to the North Woolwich Mennonite Meeting House for further service and burial in the adjoining cemetery.

    Sauder, Alvin Bruce, son of Mr. and Mrs. Moses Sauder, was born at Erbsville, Ont., Jan. 28, 1935; died in a drowning accident in the Mattawa River, near Mattawa, May 22, 1967; aged 32 y. 3 m. 24 d. In 1957 he was married to Elvina Martin, who survives. Also surviving are 3 children (Orvie, Lloyd, and Darlene), 6 brothers (Sidney, Amsey, Melvin, George, Nelson, and Orvie), and 3 sisters (Salinda--Mrs. John Gingrich, Betty--Mrs. Edwin Martin, and Lydia Ann). He was a member of the Elmira (Ont.) Church, were memorial services were held June 1, with Vernon Leis and Emerson Dorsch officiating.

    ALVIN BRUCE SAUDER

    A memorial service for Alvin Bruce Sauder, RR 2, Waterloo, who drowned May 22 on the Mattawa River, near Mattawa, will be held Thursday at 3 p.m at the Elmira Mennonite Church. Rev. Vernon Leis will officiate, assisted by Rev. E.F. Dorsch. Meanwhile, provincial police at Mattawa are continuing a daily check of the river in an effort to recover Mr. Sauder's body. Mr. Sauder, 32, a used furniture dealer, was fishing in a small aluminium boat when it tipped in the middle of the river. Mr. Sauder, a non-swimmer, lost his grip on the overturned boat and disappeared. Born in Wellesley, he was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Moses Sauder, Erbsville. Surviving besides his parents are his wife, the former Elvina Martin, whom he married in 1957; two sons, Orvie, 9, Lloyd, 6, and a daughter, Darlene, 3; six brothers, Sydney, Millbank; Amsey, Linwood; Melvin, St. Jacobs; George, Floradale and Nelson and Orvie, both of RR 3, Waterloo; and three sisters, Mrs. John (Salinda) Gingerich, RR 1, Elmira; Mrs. Edwin (Betty) Martin, St Jacobs;\\ and Lydia Ann, RR 1, Elmira.

Loving father of Earl and Lorna Sauder of RR #1, Palmerston, Edgar and Lena Sauder of RR #6, Mount Forest, Miriam, Katherine and Paul Sauder of RR #6, Mount Forest, Marvin and Tammy Sauder of RR #1, Conn and MaryAnn and Michael Weber of RR #6, Mount Forest. Survived by fifteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Brother of Sydney Sauder and Esther of Stratford, Amsey Sauder of Mount Forest, Salinda Gingrich and John of Floradale, Melvin Sauder and Irene of Mount Forest, Betty Martin of Mount Forest, Nelson Sauder and Martha of Palmerston, Orvie Sauder and Esther of Wallenstein, Lydiann Reist and Paul of Elmira.     SAUDER, Orvie Martin Passed away peacefully at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Saturday, April 30, 2011, at age 53. Beloved husband of Linda; loved father of Rachel and Michael; step-father of Beau and Catlin; loving son of Vi Sauder and the late Jim O'Rourke; dear brother of Lloyd and Debby Sauder and Darlene and Kevin Royle. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father, Alvin Sauder. Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Orv's life will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, May 6, 2011 at 11 a.m. A Motorcycle Procession Tribute to Parkview Crematorium, Waterloo will be followed by a reception at the funeral home.
