    Notes:

    CHAPMAN, GEORGE ERIC was a graduate of University Trinity College, Toronto in 1903. He was engaged in general practice probably at Wilkesport, Ont., and following a year of study in Europe, came to Berlin in 1911, his first card appearing in November.

    He opened an office at the corner of Frederick and Spetz streets, and offered special attention to diseases of women and children.

    In the fall of 1917 he volunteered for service overseas, and returned in 1919, resuming his practice in August. At this time his interest was in surgery as well as diseases of women.

    After this there was no further mention of him, but he was listed in the Ontario Medical Register in Glenbrook, Nevada, in 1922 and 1928. He subsequently moved to San Francisco where he practised until his retirement in 1952. He died at Santa Rosa, California on February 11, 1969, aged 88 years.
