    Hunsberger, Minnie Amelia Witmer, daughter of Levi and Mary Witmer, was born in Cambridge, Ont., June 20, 1887; died at Cambridge, Ont., Dec. 25, 1987; aged 100 y. She was married to Noah Hunsberger, who preceded her in death. Surviving are one son (David), one daughter (Grace Gingerich), 2 stepsons (John and Paul), 15 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

    HUNSBERGER, Mrs. Minnie A. - At Fairview Mennonite Home, Cambridge, on Friday, Dec. 25, 1987, age 100 years.

    Mrs. Hunsberger had attended Erb Street Mennonite Church, Waterloo and St. Jacobs Mennonite Church.

    Dear mother of David and his wife Katherine of St. Jacobs and Grace and her husband Newton Gingerich of Baden. She is also fondly remembered by two step-sons, John and his wife Gladys of London, Ont. and Paul and his wife Edna of Waterloo and Goshen, Ind., 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

    She was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Noah Hunsberger, who was pastor of Erb Street Mennonite Church for many years; three brothers, Albert, Jesse and Leslie D. Witmer and one foster sister, Rosie Cober and her parents, Mary and Levi Witmer.

    Mrs. Hunsberger's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home; 171 King St. S., Waterloo, from 7-9 p.m. this evening and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. At noon Monday, transfer will be made to Erb Street Mennonite Church for the funeral service at 2:30 p.m., with Rev. Wilmer Martin and Rev. Rufus Jutzi officiating. Interment to follow in Erb Street Mennonite cemetery.

    Donations to the Mennonite Mission Board or Fairview Mennonite Home, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

    This drawing of a Mennonite man, entitled "Traveling," was created by Minnie Hunsberger at age 89. Minnie was a daughter of Levi Witmer (1884-1916) and Mary Cober (1849-1926), of Waterloo Township. She married Rev. Noah Hunsberger (1877-1958) in 1926 and they had two children. Minnie was an amateur artist, creating ink drawings and Scherenschnitte (cut paper works).
