Age 90, born in Hamilton, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Culhane; a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the Golden Cross Group; wife of George Schenk who predeceased her in 1950; mother of Roy, Verna (Mrs. Karl Moritz), Audrey (Mrs. Carl Lang), Ortha (Mrs. Irvin Stahle) and Lucile (Mrs. Walter Rieck), all of Kitchener, and the late Weybourne; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. West, Kitchener, after 4 pm, Thursday, until noon on Saturday, when removal will be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church for the service at 3 pm, with Rev. John Korcok officiating. Interment St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Mother of Frank and his wife Ione of Waterloo, Brian and his wife Diane of Cambridge, sister of Audry Lang and Lucile Rieck, both of Kitchener; grandmother to David and his wife Shari, Murray, Jessica, Lisa and her husband George Prine and Christopher. Predeceased by her parents, George and Gertrude Schenk; her husband Karl in 1974; two brothers, Webourn and Roy and one sister, Ortha Stahle. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, from 7-9 p.m. this evening (Saturday); 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, until noon on Monday when removal will be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Queen Street South, Kitchener, where the funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., with Pastor Allan Scharlach officiating. Internment will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. Donations to St. Mary's Hospital Building Fund may be made as expressions of sympathy.

    Death of Weyburn Schenk

    The sad death took place last evening about 10 o'clock of Weyburn, the 10 year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. George Schenk, corner Benton and Courtland Ave., death being due to heart failure. The funeral will be held from the residence of his parents on Sunday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock to the East End Lutheran Cemetery for internment.

Lovingly remembered by her sister, Audrey (Drummond) Lang and her brothers and sister-in-law, Jim and Eileen Rieck, George and Marg Rieck, all of Kitchener and June (Bob) Rieck of New Dundee.
