Peacefully, at her home, on Thursday, June 12, 1986, Catherine Gerber, of 15 Doering St., Wellesley. Mrs. Gerber was born in North Easthope township 66 years ago. She was a daughter of the late Christian R. Erb and the late Nancy Wagler. She was a member of the Mapleview Mennonite Church. Beloved wife of Chris Gerber of Wellesley; dear mother of Harold and his wife Maureen Gerber of RR 1, Wellesley, Doris and her husband Stanley Erb of Wellesley; dear sister of Dan W. Erb of Poole and Annie (Mrs. Sylvester Martin) of Linwood, Mary (Mrs. John Zehr) of RR 1, Wellesley, Amy (Mrs. Norman Zehr) of Stratford. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Melanie, Philip and Timothy Gerber and Pam, Kevin, Jeff, Rosalynn and Christopher Erb; step-daughter of John and Nancy Nafziger of Wellesley. She was predeceased by one sister, Esther, (Mrs. Amos Steckley). Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St., Wellesley, where the family will receive friends this evening from 7-9 and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At noon Saturday, June 14, removal will be made to the Mapleview Mennonite Church, for the funeral service at 2 p.m., Rev. Alvin Leis and Rev. Allan Nafzinger will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
