    GRAYSTONE, Wilfred

    Of 426 Margaret St., Cambridge (Preston), at South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Sunday, September 19, 1976, Wilfred Graystone, beloved husband of Lillian Cripps, dear father of Wilfred and Allan of London, Ont., in his 79th year. Also survived by one brother, Charles of Barrie and a sister, Mrs. Lillian Knight of Toronto and seven grandchildren. Mr. Graystone was born in England; had been a resident of Cambridge (Preston) for 50 years. He retired from Kinnear industries Corp. Ltd., was also with Eastern Steel Products Ltd., for a number of years. A member of Knox Presbyterian Church. A veteran of the First World War and a member of Canadian Legion, Preston branch 126. Past president of the Ontario Minor Hockey Association; a former alderman of Cambridge (Preston) and a former member of the Preston public school board. A life member of Preston Lodge AF and AM 297, and secretary for 23 years. Life member of the Royal City Lodge of Perfection, Guelph; a member of Guelph chapter of Rose Croix and Guelph Scottish Rite, 32nd degree and the Shrine-Mocha Temple, London and the Cambridge Shrine Club; a past grand steward of the Grand Lodge of Canada, province of Ontario. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge (Preston), where funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, at 2 p.m. Interment in Parklawn cemetery.
