    AUSTIN, William Ephraim (Bill)

    At his residence, on Sunday, Jan. 3, 1999, following a brief illness, Bill Austin, of Waterloo, age 78 years. Bill was a longtime driver with Canada Coach for 36 years before retirement. He served overseas during the Second World War, with the American Forces. He was also a member of Waterloo North Presbyterian Church. Beloved husband of Audrey for 42 years. Loving father of Vivian and her husband Don Christie of Cambridge, Doug and his wife Kay of Cambridge, Bob and his wife Roberta of Indiannapolis, Rick and his wife Tereena of Cambridge. Sadly missed by ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also remembered by nieces, nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his parents, Hugo and Nellie: a son, Frank; two brothers, Harold and Hugo (Junior). Friends and relatives may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener on Wednesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held Thursday, at Waterloo North Presbyterian Church, 685 Highpoint Ave., Waterloo (Northfield and Westmount) at 11 a.m., with Rev. John Young officiating. Private interment at Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge. Reception to follow at the church.
