FISCHER, Mark John

Passed away suddenly, after a brief battle with cancer on Monday, March 9, 2009, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, at the age of 5L Beloved husband of Cathy (nee Durant) Fischer for 26 years. Loving father of Michelle and Shawn. Dear son of John and Ann (nee Rohm) Fischer of Kitchener. Dear brother to Paul Fischer of Kitchener and John Fischer and his wife Catherine of Guelph. Son-in-law of Ron and Marion Durant of Cambridge. Mark will also be missed by his nieces and nephew and his "girls" - Scout and Pepa. Mark was a dedicated employee of Weber Supply of Kitchener, for many years. He was an avid sports fan and for many years was involved with Preston Minor Softball (treasurer, coach), Kitchener and District Soccer League (Secretary and Public Relations Manager). Mark's family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, from 2.4 and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 10-10: 45 a.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St.. Kitchener. Funeral service 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2009, in the chapel of the funeral home. Mark's uncle, Pastor Henry Fischer officiating. Cremation to follow.
