At Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Tuesday, April 17, 2001, in her 84th year. Winnie Parkinson of Cambridge, was the beloved wife of the late Archie Parkinson. Dear mother of Marilyn Parkinson-Crump and her husband Ernie of Cambridge, Jennifer Crump and her husband Ross of London, Neil Parkinson and his wife Sharon of Cambridge; loved grandmother of Ian Crump and his wife Jennifer Toohey of Waterloo, Meagan Crump of Toronto, Joshua Crump and his wife Louisa Greaves of Brisbane, Australia, Carrie Crump of Kamloops, B.C., Elizabeth, Sarah and Carolyn Parkinson, all of Cambridge and great-grandmother of Kayla, Frank and Bella; dear sister of Ern Cryer of Bath, England and sister-in-law of Ted and Margaret Parkinson of Cambridge and Ellen Hall of Boston, Ont. She was predeceased by a daughter, Theresa; a grandson, Aaron; two brothers, Len and Roy and sister, Doreen. Mrs. Parkinson served with the British Army A.T.S. during the Second World War and she was a member of Trinity Anglican Church, Central Dumfries Women's Institute and the United Kingdom Club of Cambridge. During her career as a bookkeeper, Mrs. Parkinson worked for Nagge Brothers, Moffat's Catering and the Babcock Employees' Credit Union. Friends will be received at Coutts & Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge on Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at Trinity Anglican Church, Blair Rd., Cambridge, on Friday, at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in Trinity Anglican Cemetery.
