VALENS, Luella Jean

At the Golden Years Nursing Home, on Tuesday, November 29, 1994, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Earl Valens and dear mother of Bob and his wife Sharon and Helen Mezger both of Cambridge. Also survived by her brother Harry McNeilly and his wife Dorothy of Cambridge, her grandchildren Scott, Lesley, Rob and Heidi and her great-grandson, Ashton. Predeceased by her brothers; George and Wilson McNeilly and her sister; Annie Watson. Mrs. Valens was a former resident of Valens, she was a member of the Kirkwall Presbyterian Church and she was a member of the Kirkwall and Valens Womens Institute. Resting at the Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St., Cambridge where the family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral and Committal Service will be held in the funeral home chapel, on Thursday, December 1, 1994, at 1: 30 p.m., Rev. Angus Sutherland officiating. Interment Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge.
