    MRS. GEORGE HASENPFLUG

    Funeral service was held Saturday in Kitchener for Mrs. George Hasenpflug, 95, of St. Jacobs. She died last Wednesday in Hamilton hospital after a lengthy illness.

    Rev. Harold Brill conducted the service. Burial was in the St. James Lutheran church cemetery, St. Jacobs.

    Mrs. Hasenpflug was born in Perth county May 11, 1875, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Ruppel.

    Surviving are one step-son, George of Windsor; four step-daughters, Mrs. Hardy (Mabel) Goodwin of Heidelberg, Mrs. Wesley (Edith) Shoemaker of Elmira, Mrs. Pearl Paulter of Kitchener and Mrs. Melville (Eva) Totzke of Elmira; 24 step-grandchildren and 54 step-great-grandchildren.

    Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, George, in 1943, two brothers, two sisters and two step-sons.

    Mary married George Carl Hasenpflug 6 Oct 1926, Waterloo Twp., Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada. George (son of Johann George "George" Hasenpflug and Elisabetha Margaretha Haffner) was born 5 Dec 1870, Woolwich Twp., Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada; died 26 Jan 1943, St. Jacobs, Woolwich Twp., Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada; was buried , Saint James Lutheran Cemetery, St. Jacobs, Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada.
