    MRS. REGINA DENSTEDT A native of Wellesley Township, Mrs. Regina Denstedt, 73, died Sunday at the home of her son, Stanley, R.R. 3, Listowel. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Linwood. Her husband William Denstedt, died in 1947. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Anthony (Matilda) Vollmer, Stratford; four sons, Frederick, Timmins, and Clarence, Stanley and Harold, R.R. 3, Listowel; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Lena Armstrong, St. Jacobs; Mrs. James (Pearl) Burnett, Tralee, and Mrs. Laura Nurse, Windsor; four step-sons, Laverne, Tavistock; Edgar, Carthage; Roy, Newton and Earl, Wellesley; two brothers, Edward Holzschuk, R.R. 1, Wallenstein and August Holzschuk, Linwood. The funeral was held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Linwood, with Rev. Walter Goos officiating. Burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery. The body was at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira until Wednesday at 1 p.m. when removal was made to the church, where friends were requested to pay their respects before the service.

    Mr. Holzschuh died Tuesday, January 10, at Heritage House, St. Jacobs, in his 95th year.

    He was the husband of Adeline Axt of Heritage House, formerly of Linwood; father of Samuel of Milverton and Ivan of Kitchener; grandfather of David, Wendy and Heather.

    Three sisters and one brother predeceased him.

    Friends may call at the Dreisinger funeral home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira, until Thursday noon when removal will be made to St. Peter's church for funeral service and interment in St. Peter's cemetery.

    Mrs. William (Judith) Axt, 62, of Linwood, died yesterday afternoon at the K-W Hospital after a short illness. Daughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. Samuel Holzschuh, she was born on the 13th line of Wellesley Township. She was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Linwood and belonged to the Ladies Aid Society. Surviving are her husband, William Axt; one son, Helmer, Linwood; one daughter, Mrs. Grant (Thelma) Schneider, Linwood; two brothers, August and Edmund Holzschuh, both of Linwood; and one sister, Mrs. William Denstedt of Hesson. Eight grandchildren also survive. One sister, Mrs. William Tabbert, predeceased her last year. Private funeral services will be held Sunday at 2: 30 pm. at her late residence. Memorial service will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran Church and interment will be in the Lutheran Cemetery, Linwood. Rev. W. Goos will officiate. The body is resting at Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira until tomorrow afternoon.

    At Wellesley Hospital in Toronto, on Sunday morning, June 19, 1988, of 142 Henderson Ave. in Cambridge, in her 79th year. Wife of Ernest Gray Connell. Mother of Owen John "Jack" and Jean (Mrs. Donald Laurence), both of Cambridge; and Joan (Mrs. Ron Hicks) of Guelph. Sister of William Tabbert of Kitchener; Emma (Mrs. Clarence Brown) of Burlington; and Mrs. Viola Karn of Guelph. Also survived by eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Predeceased by three sisters. Mrs. Connell was a longtime member of St. James' Lutheran Church in Cambridge. Service at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd. in Cambridge on Wed., Jun. 22 at 1: 30. Interment New Hope Cemetery.

    Beloved husband of Edith (Moser) Denstedt of Heritage House, St. Jacobs. Dear father and father-in-law of Marie Mederak of Kitchener, Gladys and Fergus Ruston of Stratford, Clare and Bonnie Lou of RR 3, Listowel, Donald and Carol of Elmira, Doreen and Donald Foerster of Elmira and Harriet Denstedt of Oakville. Fondly remembered by his 22 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Brother of Harold Denstedt of Elmira.

    Predeceased by one son, Gerald (1994); one granddaughter, Colleen Foerster, two brothers, Fred and Stanley; five step-brothers and four step-sisters. The family will receive friends at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, this evening (Tuesday) from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held from St. Mary's RC Church, Hesson on Thursday, March 9 at 11 a.m., with Father Len Desjardins officiating. Spring interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Hesson. Parish prayers will be held on Wednesday evening at 7: 30 p.m. at the funeral home. In his memory, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada, may be made as expressions of sympathy.

    Denstedt, Stanley Holschuh - On Wednesday, Dec. 18, 1991, at Palmerston Hospital, Stanley Denstedt, aged 75 years, of RR 3, Listowel, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Linwood and had served on the former St. John's Lutheran Church Board, Hesson. He was a member of the Waterloo Rod & Gun Club, had served on the Maryborough township council, the Listowel District High School Board and the Dorking Public School USS No. 20 Board. Stanley was a retired farmer and part owner of the former Denstedt Tile. Drainage, with his two sons, Barry and Gaye for several years. In his retirement years he enjoyed gardening and woodworking.
    Beloved husband of the late Blanche Voll, who predeceased him in 1975. Dear father of Myrna and her husband Lorne Leis of Elmira, Barry and his wife Beth of Moorefield, Karen and her husband Mark Jutzi of New Hamburg, Randy and his wife Joey of RR 2, Alma and Cindy and her husband Jerry Ropp of Milverton. A son, Gaye predeceased him in 1979. He is fondly remembered by a daughter-in-law, Sherry Denstedt and her friend Maurice Bisson of RR 4, Arthur; his grandchildren, Lorrie and her husband Dan Plein, Jarrod, Krista, Kerri, Brent, Trevor and his wife Ellen, Traci and her husband Trevor Goetz, Matthew, Stanley, Jessica, Mandl and Jordan and two great-grandchildren, Danielle and Jake. He is survived by his second wife, Elaine and two brothers, Clarence of Maryhill and Harold of Milverton.
    He was predeceased by his parents, the late William Denstedt and Regina Holzschuh; one brother, Fred; five step-brothers and four step-sisters. Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 9 Pacific Ave., Milverton, after 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19 and until Saturday at noon when transfer will be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Linwood, for service at 1': 30 p.m. with Rev. David Lowe officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Linwood.
