    Conrad Gerth passed away yesterday at his home, 47 Krug St., at the age of 77 years, 5 months, and 24 days. Deceased who was born in Wellesley Township, had only lived in this city for three years, having spent the greater part of his life as a farmer in Wellesley Township. His death will be deeply mourned by his large circle of friends throughout Waterloo County. He was predeceased by his wife 13 years ago. He is survived by two sons, George of Kitchener and Herman of Wellesley, and one daughter, Mrs. Ed. Reist, 47 Krug St. The funeral will be held from his daughter's residence on Thursday afternoon at 1:15 o'clock to the Wellesley Lutheran Church where funeral services will be conducted. Interment will be made in the Wellesley Cemetery.

    WELLESLEY - Herman Gerth, 78, of Wellesley, died at his home Monday night after an illness of five months.

    Before he retired in 1948, he drove the mail between Baden and Wellesley for 38 years. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church here and the Canadian Order of Foresters.

    He was born in Wellesley Nov. 4, 1876, son of the late Conrad Gerth and his wife, the late Ernsnia Mesh.

    He is survived by his wife, the former Sarah Berdux, three sons, Walter of Milverton and Emerson and Elton, at home; one brother, George of Kitchener.

    The body will be at the Futher Funeral Home, Wellesley until Wednesday at 3 p.m., then at the residence where a private funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 2:30 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 3 o'clock at St. Paul's Church. Rev. Ralph Huras will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

    Suddenly stricken with a heart attack on Tuesday, Sept. 12th, Mrs. E. Reist, Krug St., Kitchener, passed away, her passing causing a shock
    to her family and friends.

    The late Mrs. Reist, nee Clara Magdalena Gerth of Wellesley. was born in the township of Wellesley 46 years ago and married Mr. Reist in 1916.

    She is survived by her husband and by one son and one daughter, Robert and Marie, both at home. Also surviving are two brothers. Norman of Wellesley and George Gerth of Kitchener.

    The funeral service was held on Friday with a private service at her late residence at 2.30 o'clock, followed by a service in St. Matthew's Lu theran church at thre o'clock. Interbment was made in St. Peter's cemetery. Rev. J. Schmieder, pastor of St. Matthew's church had charge of the services.

Visitation at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home, 52 Benton St., Kitchener, until 1 p.m. on Tuesday, when removal will be made to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church chapel for service and committal at 3 p.m., Rev. Harold Brill officiating. Internment will be held in the spring in St. Peter's Lutheran cemetery.
