    WELLESLEY - Mrs. Alex Berg, 76, died Friday (January 5, 1962) in K-W Hospital after a four-week illness. The former Mary Eydt, she was born in East Zorra. She was a daughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. Andrew Eydt. She and her husband farmed at Crosshill until their retirement a few years ago when they moved to Wellesley. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church here. Surviving are her husband, to whom she was married in 1911; three sons, Clayton, Hamilton; Herbert, Waterloo, and Ralph, Crosshill; two brothers, George, Waterloo, and John, Wellesley; four sisters Mrs. Edmund (Isabelle) Doering, Philipsburg; Mrs. Oliver (Hermina) Heinz, Wellesley; Mrs. Norman (Adeline) Gerth, Waterloo, and Mrs. Robert Quehl, Wellesley, and seven grandchildren. The body will be at the Futher Funeral Home until Monday noon when it will be removed to St. Mark's Lutheran Church for service at 2: 30 p.m. with Rev. E.S. Olseon officiating. Burial will be in St. Mark's Cemetery.

    BERG, Herb - Peacefully, on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 1996, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Herb C. Berg, in his 81s year, of Waterloo.

    Beloved husband of Eileen (Ritter) Berg; loving father of Mark Berg and his wife Sandra of Kitchener; dear grandfather of Jonathan Berg; brother of Ralph Berg of Wellesley and Clayton Berg of Hamilton.

    Herb was employed with the LCBO for 23 years until his retirement. He was a longtime member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Elmira.

    The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home Elmira on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. On Saturday at 9 a.m., transfer will be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Elmira for funeral service at 11 a.m., with Rev. Richard Frey officiating, followed by interment in Elmira Union Cemetery.

    BERG, Ralph N. Supported by family during his final three weeks of illness, on Monday, August 6, 2012 at Freeport Hospital, Kitchener, Ralph Berg of Wellesley, in his 95th year. Beloved husband of Helen (nee Hackbart). Loving father of Don and Marg of Hanover, Paul and Ginny of Crosshill, Janice and Kevin MacDonald of Kamloops and Karen and Steve Heldman of Freelton. Will be sadly missed by his grandchildren; Dave (Gayla), Bryan (Kristen), Janelle (Mike), Eric, Sarah, Greg (Meghan), Marcus (Pam), Michael (Katie), Katie (Tyler) and Adam. Great-grandfather of Oliver, Miriam, as well as his sister-in-law; Eileen Berg of Kitchener and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Alex Berg and Mary (Eydt) and his brothers; Clayton Berg (Dorothy) and Herbert Berg. Ralph's lifelong love of farming continued far beyond his retirement in 1984. He was active in his church, his community and enjoyed reading, travelling, volunteering and spending time with family and friends. Friends may call at the FUTHER-FRANKLIN FUNERAL HOME, 1172 Henry Street, Wellesley, on Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 1123 Henry Street, Wellesley on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 11 a.m. Pastor David Hammer officiating.
