    Mr. Valentine Wagner, whose serious illness was reported in the Leaf a couple of weeks ago, passed away at his home in this village on Tuesday morning Feb. 27th at the advanced age of 82 years and one month. He came to this country in 1841 from Hesse, Germany, and moved onto a farm north of Wellesley, in 1850, where he resided until about six years ago when he retired to Wellesley. In 1847 he was married to Ann Elizabeth Borscht, who survives him. To them was born five children, of whom two are living, Elizabeth and Amelia, both at home. He is also survived by three brothers, John, Conrad and Bartholomew Wagner of Wellesley. The funeral will take place on Friday afternoon, to the Canada Lutheran cemetery, services will be held in the church by the pastor, Rev. Holm.

    MISS ELIZABETH WAGNER

    WELLESLEY. May 22-Miss Elizabeth Wagner, 84, died at her home here early today after five years illness resulting from a fractured hip. She was born in Wellesley Township, daughter of the late Valentine Wagner and Anna Elizabeth Berach. Miss Wagner attended St. Paul's Canadian Lutheran Church.

    Surviving are two sisters, Mrs (Charles) Koehler and Miss Amalia Wagner both of Wellesley.

    Private funeral service will be held at her late residence at 2 pm Tuesday followed by public service in St. Paul's Canadian Lutheran Church at 230 p.m. Rev. William Nolting will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery. The remains are resting at her home.

    WELLESLEY, June 4.- Following a long illness, Miss Amalia Wagner, 85. died at her late residence last night. She had been ill for two years.

    A lifelong resident of Wellesley. she was the daughter of the late Valentine Wagner and Anna Elizabeth Berscht and was born in Wellesley Township. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Canada Synod.

    The remains are resting at the residence where a private service will be held Thursday at 2.30 o'clock DST., followed by a public service at St. Paul's Canada Lutheran Church at 2:45 o'clock. Interment will be made in St. Paul's Cemetery.

    KOEHLER, Mrs. Ida Peacefully, on Monday, June 13, 1983, at Heritage House, St. Jacobs, Anna Ida Elizabeth Koehler, of Heritage House, St. Jacobs and formerly of Wellesley. Ida was born in Wellesley 98 years ago.

    She was the daughter of the late Amelia Wagner; was a lifelong member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, where she was active in the LCW of St. Mark's.

    She is survived by a nephew, Howard and G. Koehler of Kitchener. Predeceased by her husband, Charles B. Koehler, January 10, 1948.

    Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, Wellesley, until noon Wednesday, June 15, when removal will be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church, for funeral service at 3 p.m. Rev. Wilmer Minke will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Mark's Lutheran cemetery.
