    GERBER, Elmer -- Peacefully, on Thursday, June 12, 1986, at Brunner Nursing Home, Elmer Gerber, of 10 Molesworth St., Wellesley. Mr. Gerber was born in Wilmot township 79 years ago. He was a son of the Late Solomon R. Gerber and the late Laura Leis. He had farmed at Wilmot township, retiring in 1957; he was a member of Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church. Beloved husband of the former Sarah Lebold of Wellesley, dear father of Delmer and his wife Sharon Gerber of Elmira, Reta and her husband Ivan Ross of RR 1, Milverton; dear brother of Solomon and Ohmer Gerber of Wellesley, Mose Gerber of RR 1, Wellesley, Emma (Mrs. Nicholas Schmidt), Esther (Mrs. David Schwartz), Sarah (Mrs. Ralph Leis) and Elmina (Mrs. Alvin Jantzi) all of Wellesley, Laura (Mrs. Elias Jantzi) of Crosshill. Lovingly remembered by eight grandchildren. Predeceased by one son, Harold, two brothers Amos and Alvin; one sister Clara. Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St., Wellesley, where family will receive friends this evening from 7-9 and Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At 1 p.m. Sunday, June 15, family service will be conducted at the funeral home, followed by the funeral service at the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church at 2 p.m. Bishop Arthur Gerber will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

    Laura was a faithful member of Crosshill Mennonite Church, where she was active in the WMSC. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed cooking and gardening.

Gerald -Schwartzentruber will officiate. Burial will follow in the Maple View Mennonite Cemetery.

    Beloved husband of the former Mary Zehr of Millbank; dear father of Wilmar and his wife Marjorie of RR 1, Ray and his wife Elizabeth of Millbank, Laura (Mrs. Ron Hergott) of Millbank, Doris (Mrs. Wayne Zehr) of RR 1, St. Agatha, Doreen (Mrs. Rick Gingerich) of RR 1, Millbank; dear brother of Elmer, Solomon and Ohmer Gerber, all of Wellesley and Mose Gerber of RR 1, Wellesley; Emma (Mrs. Nick Schmidt), Esther (Mrs. David Schwartz), Sarah (Mrs. Ralph Leis) and Elmina (Mrs. Alvin Jantzi), all of Wellesley, Laura (Mrs. Elias Jantzi) of RR 1, Millbank.     JANTZI, Orland July 9, 1940 - August 30, 2012 Passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Grand River Hospital at the age of 72. Beloved husband and best friend of Eleanor of 49 years. Beloved father of Tom (Sherri) and Cynthia Clasper. Orland was a loving Grandpa and Papa to his three special grand-daughters, Candice, Jadyn and Chloe. Dear brother of Mel (Pat) Jantzi, Dorothy Roth, Esther (Mel) Harrison, Stan (Lisa) Jantzi. He is also survived by Eleanor's sisters and brothers Delphine (Mel) Zehr, Joy (Cornelius) Klassen, Kathy (Paul) Steckle, Chuck (Tanya) Erb, Marjorie Steckle, and Phil (Laurie) Erb. Predeceased by his parents Elias and Laura Jantzi, in-laws Mervin Roth, Gerald Steckle, Carol and Cyril Erb Gingerich, nephew Peter Hammer and niece Connie Steckle. Orland lived for his work as the owner and operator of Summer Breeze Heating and Air Conditioning. He enjoyed life and work to the fullest and never gave a thought to retirement. He was a member of First Mennonite Church in Kitchener. Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Monday, September 3, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday, September 4, from 1-2 p.m. at First Mennonite Church, 800 King St. E., Kitchener. The funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. at First Mennonite Church. Reception to follow in the church hall. Cremation to follow. Marlene's life centered around her seven grandchildren, Mackenzie, Alex and Jackson Normandeau, Sarah and Isaac Fisher, Griffin and Brayden Smith.
