    Notes:

    Theodore (Ted) Brohman of Maryhill died May 24 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Guelph. He was 77.

    He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Brohman of Maryhill and had farmed in Guelph Township for 48 years before retiring to Maryhill in 1965.

    His wife, the former Laura Bruder, died Jan 7, 1965.

    Surviving are three daughters, Marjorie, at home, Mrs. Ralph (Marie) Brohman of Kitchener and Mrs. Leo (Rita) Lauber of Maryhill; two sons, Edwin and Bert, both of Maryhill; a brother Barney of West Montrose; seven grandchildren and on great-grandchild.

    He was predeceased by a son, Jack, and a daughter, Violet.

    Requiem mass was solemnized at St. Boniface Church, Maryhill, May 27. Burial was in the church cemetery.

    Theodore married Laura Louisa Bruder 28 Jan 1919, Maryhill (New Germany) Waterloo Twp., Waterloo Region, Ontario. Loving mother of Barb Gingerich and her husband Keith of Kitchener. Cherished grandma of Michael and his wife Suzanne of Toronto and Carla Rutledge and her husband Greg of Kitchener. Adored great-gammy of Amelia, Jocelyn, and Michael. Dear sister of Marjorie Steffler of Maryhill; sister-in-law of Pat Brohman and Margie Brohman both of Maryhill and Maryann Haehnel of Kitchener.

    Reta will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents, Ted and Laura Brohman; and siblings, Marie, Bert, Edwin, Jack and Violet. Father Ronald Voisin officiated the Funeral Mass. Interment at St. Boniface Cemetery. Memorial donations to St. Boniface RC Church would be appreciated.

    Marjorie's family will receive family and friends on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Prayers will be offered on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 9:10 a.m. followed by procession to St. Boniface RC Church, Maryhill for Marjorie's Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. with Fr. Ronald Voisin officiating. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery followed by a reception at the Maryhill Community Centre.

    As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Boniface RC Church would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
