    Joshua B. Martin, 68, RR 3, Wallenstein, died at K-W Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mr. Martin was born in Woolwich Township, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Christian B. Martin. Surviving are three sons, Ephraim of RR 4, Elmira, Urais [sic] of Glen Allan and Aden of RR 1, St. Jacobs; one daughter, Mrs. Sydney (Elizabeth) Martin, RR 3, Wallenstein; three brothers, Moses and Manasseh of RR 1, St. Jacobs; two sisters, Mrs. Daniel (Elizabeth) Martin, RR 3, Wallenstein, and Mrs. Sydney (Annie) Martin, RR 2, Wallenstein, and 14 grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sisters and one brother. The body was at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira, until 9 a.m. Thursday when removal was made to the residence where the funeral was held Saturday at 9 a.m. followed by service in Linwood Mennonite meeting house. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.

    MARTIN, Ephraim M. Passed away peacefully on Friday, January 8, 2016, at the home of Lloyd Frey's. Ephraim Martin of 6540 10th Line, Minto in his 92nd year. Son of the late Joshua B. and Leah Martin. Loving father of Ananias and Sara (Weber) Martin of Gorrie; Sidney and Mary (Clemmer) Martin of Aylmer; and Mary Ann (Martin) and David Weber of Mount Forest. Cherished grandfather of seventeen grandchildren and fifty great-grand-children. Also survived by one sister Elizabeth Martin. Predeceased by his wife Annie (Weber) Martin, one daughter, one son and one great- grandson. Friends may call at the home of Lloyd Frey's, 6540 10th Line, Minto on Saturday, January 9th from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. and on Sunday, January 10th from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. A short service will be held at the home of Lloyd Frey's on Monday, January 11th at 9:00 a.m. then proceeding to the Westdale Meeting House for further services and burial in the adjoining cemetery. All are welcome to gather at the home of Lloyd Frey's for refreshments and fellowship. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest.

    Peacefully on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Listowel Memorial Hospital, Urias M Martin in his 80th year, formerly of Floradale. Beloved husband of the late Melinda Martin (March 21, 2009). Dear father of Harold and Alice Martin of Wroxeter, Clara and Kenneth Martin of Foresters Falls, Audrey and Keith Martin of Cobden, Alice and James Snyder of Beachburg, Walter and Clareen Martin of Alma, Almeda and Earl Bauman of St. Jacobs. He will be missed by 42 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Brother of Ephraim and Annie Martin, Elizabeth and the late Sydney Martin. Brother-in-law of Maryann and the late Aden Martin. Predeceased by his parents Joshua and Leah Martin, one brother and one brother-in-law. The family will receive friends and relatives at Parkview Manors (front entrance) Floradale on Sunday, September 26, from 2-5: 30 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A family service will be held at Parkview Manors on Monday, September 27, at 9 a.m. then to Goshen Mennonite Church for public service and burial in the adjoining cemetery.
