Also survived by her 27 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Sister of Nancy Rudy of St. Jacobs, Menno and Elsie Rudy of Waterloo, Sidney and Dorothy Rudy of St. Jacobs, Malinda Rudy of St. Jacobs, Lydia Bowman of Listowel. Predeceased by her parents Aaron and Sarah (Martin) Rudy, her son Omar (2002), three brothers Cyrus and two in infancy, three sisters Susannah, Barbara Bowman and Salome Martin. The family will receive their friends and relatives at Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, on Monday, November 2nd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Jacobs Mennonite Church on Tuesday, November 3rd at 2 p.m. with Pastor Mark Diller Harder and Pastor Wendy Janzen officiating followed by interment in St. Jacobs Mennonite Cemetery.     Rudy, Sidney M. ~ Went home peacefully to be with his Lord on Monday, December 30, 2013 as the result of a fall. Sid Rudy in his 86th year, of St. Jacobs, was the beloved husband for 61 years of Dorothy (Bast) Rudy. Loving father of Connie and Dave Martin of RR 1, Elora, Patricia and Steve Errey of Ariss, and James and Margaret Rudy of St. Clements. Also lovingly remembered by his eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Brother of Nancy Rudy, Melinda Rudy and Lydia Bowman, and brother-in-law of Elsie (Brubacher) Rudy. Sid will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Aaron and Sarah (Martin) Rudy, stepmother Elizabeth (Martin) Rudy, brothers Cyrus (Adeline) Rudy and Menno Rudy, sisters Leah (Philip) Martin, Susannah Rudy, Barbara (George) Bowman and Saloma (Manassah) Martin, and brother-in-law Josiah Bowman. The family will receive their relatives and friends at the Wallenstein Bible Chapel on Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and on Friday, January 3, 2014 from 10 a.m. until the service time at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Hawkesville Cemetery. In Sid's memory, donations to Fair Havens Ministries or a charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

    She was the daughter of Mrs. Aaron Rudy; sister of Cyrus and Menno Rudy, both of RR 3 Waterloo, Sidney Rudy, of Beaverton, Leah Martin, of Elmira, Nancy and Susannah Rudy, both of St. Jacobs, Malinda Rudy, of RR 1 Linwood, Barbara (Mrs. George Bowman), Lydia (Mrs. Josiah Bowman) both of RR 1 Wallenstein; predeceased by her husband, Mannasseh H. Martin, her parents, and two brothers in infancy.

    Burial was in Linwood Mennonite cemetery.

    Ira R. Martin of RR#1 Wingham, died peacefully at his home on Monday, October 28, 2013, at the age of 78. Ira was the husband of Lena Martin. Father of Irene Martin, Elam and Barbara Martin of RR#1 Wingham, Mary and Menno W. Hoover of RR#1 Bluevale, Martha and Josiah Bauman of RR#1 Bruce Mines, Levi and Susie Martin of RR#1 Wingham and Salema and Stephen Martin of RR#1 Wroxeter. Also survived by his four brothers - Leander, Joshua, George and Cyrus Martin, his sister Lydian Martin, his 29 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his first wife Salema (Brubacher) Martin, two sons and one brother. Viewing to be at his residence from 6: 00 to 8: 00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29 and 8: 30 to 11: 00 a.m. and 1: 00 to 4: 00 p.m. (Standard Time) on Wednesday, October 30.     FISHER, Margaret Martin Goshen, Indiana, 61, slipped away peacefully Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Elkhart General Hospital, after receiving a cancer diagnosis in November. She was born October 11, 1952 in St. Jacobs, Ontario, to Philip S. and Leah Rudy Martin. On May 17, 1975, she married James E. Fisher in Winston-Salem, N.C. He survives along with two children, Melissa (David Fast) Fisher Fast, Elkhart, Indiana, and Matthew (Hannah Gustafson) Fisher, Vancouver, B.C.; two grandchildren, Micah and Annelise Fast; eight siblings, Alvin (Ruth) Martin, Dutton, Ontario, Aaron (Loretta) Martin, Elmira, Ontario, Naomi (Nevelle) De'Rozario, Kitchener, Ontario, Armand (Ginny) Martin, Goshen, Vera (Elmer) Martin, Bowmanville, Ontario, Elma (Tim) Freed, London, Ontario, Nora (Steve McInnis) Martin, Woodstock, Ontario, and Herb (Wanda) Martin, St. Jacobs, Ontario; a sister-in-law, Lynne Martin, Winnipeg, Manitoba; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Omar Martin. Friends may call 3 to 5 p.m. and 6: 30 to 8: 30 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to service at Waterford Mennonite Church, Goshen.
