    CRESSMAN, Gladys Irene Passed away peacefully at St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener on Friday, October 25, 2019. Gladys resided at RR#1 New Hamburg and was born 92 years ago in Wilmot Township, a daughter of the late Edmund and May (Hunsberger) Cressman. Loving mother of Elizabeth Wagler of Eden, Manitoba, Miriam and Roy Biehn of Hawkesville, Evelyn Cressman, Paul and Lauralee Cressman, Steven and Elaine Cressman, Brian and Jewel Cressman all of New Hamburg. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Rodney (Roxanne) Wagler, Sherry (Les) Gingerich, Valerie (Gerald) Bauman, Bradley (Angela) Wagler, Joshua (Mary) Wagler, Beverly (Phil) Plett, Justina Biehn, Philip Biehn, Daniel (Rebecca) Biehn, Amanda Cressman, Joy (Rolin) Martin, Curtis Cressman, Bethany Cressman, and Amy Cressman. Cherished great-grandmother of 25. Gladys is survived by her brother Orval (Jeannette) Cressman, sisters Pearl Yantzi and Verna Gingerich, and sister-in-law Elaine Cressman. Gladys is predeceased by her husband Howard Cressman, son-in-law Glen Wagler, granddaughters Sarah Biehn and Cheryl Cressman, great-grandson Travis Bauman sister Mildred (John) Nafziger, brother Leonard (Rita) Cressman, brothers-in-law Lloyd Yantzi and Edgar Gingerich and by her sisters-in-law Elsie Cressman, Ruth (Clifford) Strubhar, Margaret Strubhar, and Lillian (Gordon) Bean. Gladys was a member of Grace Mennonite Church. Relatives and friends are invited to the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. at Nith Valley Mennonite Church, 1355 Bean Road, New Hamburg. Interment to follow in the adjoining church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations would be accepted to Aldaview Services, the Canadian Bible Society, or a Charity of Choice.

    CRESSMAN, Leonard Passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Grand River Hospital, Freeport Health Centre, Kitchener. Leonard resided in Baden and was born 81 years ago in Wilmot Township. He was the son of the late Edmund and May (Hunsberger) Cressman. Beloved husband of Elaine (Gingerich) Cressman. Dear father of Karen and Craig Cressman Anderson of Kitchener, Kim Cressman and Phil Mackey of Australia, Wendy and Don Cressman Zehr of New Hamburg, Judy and Mike Miller of Calgary, Greg and Glenice Brennan of Baden. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Zac, Joshua, Tess, Michaela, Brandon and Angie, Tyler, Chelsea and Ryan. Also remembered by his sisters and brother Gladys Cressman, Pearl Yantzi, Orval and Jeannette Cressman all of New Hamburg, Verna Gingerich of Kitchener and the Steinmann and Gingerich families. Leonard was predeceased by his 1st wife Rita (Steinmann) Cressman in 1973, son Shawn Brennan, granddaughter Amy, sister Mildred and husband John Nafziger, also a sister in infancy, brothers-in-law Howard Cressman, Lloyd Yantzi and Edgar Gingerich. Leonard was a member of Nith Valley Mennonite Church and was also actively involved with the Seniors' Woodworking Centre in Baden. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Sunday, May 30, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The interment will take place on Monday, May 31, 2010 at 10: 00 a.m. at Nith Valley Mennonite Cemetery. A service to celebrate Leonard's life will follow at 11: 00 a.m. at Nith Valley Mennonite Church with Pastors Matthew and Hendrike Isert Bender officiating.     YANTZI, Pearl Grace (Cressman)

    Passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at her residence Nithview Community, New Hamburg. Pearl was born 89 years ago in Wilmot Township, a daughter of the late Edmund and May (Hunsberger) Cressman.

    Pearl is reunited with her beloved husband Lloyd Yantzi whom she married on June 18, 1977 and predeceased her on December 2, 1999. Pearl will be missed by stepdaughter LeEtta Erb, step grandchildren; Rod (Lisa), Roland (Janice), Royce (Dana), Russell (Joyelle) and Roger and by her 11 great-grandchildren. Cherished sister of Orval Cressman (Jeannette), Verna Gingerich, sister-in-law of Elaine Cressman and fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

    Pearl is predeceased by her brother Leonard Cressman, sisters; Mildred (John Nafziger), Gladys (Howard Cressman), a sister, Mary Eileen in infancy, brother-in-law Edgar Gingerich and by her Yantzi in-laws.

    Pearl was a devoted member of Hillcrest Mennonite Church and a member of the Haysville Sunshine Club. Pearl was a participator and was actively involved n all activities brought to her attention. She quilted many quilts that made perfect gifts for family and friends, enjoyed sewing, baking cookies for the Mennonite relief sale, and worked for many years at the Arrow Shirt Factory in Kitchener. Pearl especially enjoyed camping and travelling with those she loved. She was a special Aunt to many.

    Relatives and friends are invited to the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg, on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, from 1:30 \endash 2:30 p.m. A Funeral service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 2:45 p.m. Pastors Jan Steckley and Kevin Peters-Unrau to officiate. Interment to take place at Nith Valley Mennonite Church Cemetery.

    Those who are unable to attend the funeral service will be able to watch the service via livestream by clicking on the link provided.
