    SAGE, Lorne Morley Jr. Passed away peace fully, after a valiant struggle with Cancer at Sunnyside Home on Sunday, October 31, 1999. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Edith (nee Charters) of 49 years. Loving father of Vernon and Bonnie and her husband George Barnard. Best Grandpa to George and Natalie Barnard, Kim Barnard, Darcy and Karrie Leigh Sage of Manitouwadge Ont. Dad is survived by his broth ers Bill, Fred and his wife Lillian, Earl, and Elmer, and his sisters Olive, Arlene and her husband Bob. Dad was predeceased by his parents Lorne and Ada Sage and by his brothers, Vernon Russell, Blake, and Ernie. Dad was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He worked for the Lake Erie and Northern Railway for 21 years and then for the Ministry of the Environment until he retired in 1990. Friends and relatives will be received at WESTMOUNT FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1001 Ottawa Street, South, Kitchener, Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. Service to be held in the chapel on Wednesday, November 3, 1999 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Hathaway of Sunnyside Home to officiate, assisted by Mark Perry. Cremation followed by interment at Roseville Cemetery will take place in the presence of Lorne's family at a later date. The family has requested that following the service that relatives and friends are welcome to join the family for a time of fellowship in the reception facilities at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Sunnyside Home, Canadian Cancer Society, or the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated by the family.
