    WILHELM, Edgar Z. - At the K-W Hospital, on Thursday, June 11, 1981, following a brief illness, Edgar Z. Wilhelm, aged 84 years, of 128 Cameron St. N., Kitchener. He was a member of St. Anne's RC Church. Beloved husband of the late Ada Hummel. Dear father of Elaine (Mrs. William Pernfuss) of Kitchener, Anita (Mrs. Ray Schabl) of Waterloo, Marilyn (Mrs. William Rich) of Vancouver, B.C.; brother of Mrs. Ida Fromm of Maryhill and Mrs. Grace Koepfer of Cambridge (G). Seven grandchildren also survive. Predeceased by his parents; three brothers, Albert, Anthony and Harry and one grandson, Robert Schabl. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 3 pm today, where the parish prayers will be recited tonight at 8 pm. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Saturday 9: 30 am, followed by a funeral mass at St. Anne's RC Church at 10 am with Father G. Hays officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery.

    FROMM, Ida Marie (nee Wilhelm) Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Friday, March 4, 2011 at Twin Oaks of Maryhill, at the age of 95.

    Beloved wife of the late Harold (Whitey) Fromm (2002).

    Loving mother of Charles (Mabel), Garry (Jean) all of Maryhill, Jo-Anne Jacobs (Bob) of Waterloo.

    Cherished grandmother of Debra Freiburger (Steve), Patricia Henhoeffer (Wally), Cindy Herst (Rob), Tammy Latta (Ian), Bryan Fromm (Virtine), Matthew Fromm, Stacey Jacobs (Vinay), Michael Jacobs and Matthew Jacobs.

    Great-grandma to Brittany, Jordan, Taylor, Tracey (Dave), Timothy (Theresa), Amanda and Michaela.

    Ida will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

    Predeceased by brothers Edgar, Tony, Harry, Bert and sister Grace Kloepfer.

    Ida was a lifetime member of St. Boniface Church and a member of the C.W.L for over 50 years.

    She was also one of the original cooks at the Knights of Columbus in Maryhill.

    Prayers were offered in the funeral home chapel at 9:15 a.m. on Monday, March 7, 2011 followed by procession to St. Boniface R.C. Church, Maryhill for a Funeral Mass with Fr. Ronald Voisin officiating.

    Interment St. Boniface Cemetery, Maryhill.

    As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Boniface R.C. Church or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

    WILHELM, Jerome Anthony (Lou) - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2006 at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age of 67. Loving son of Marcella (nee Zettel) Wilhelm and her late husband Harry (1980). Dear brother of Helen Wilhelm, Charlene Schell (Tom) and Jim Wilhelm (Sally). Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews, Mary Ann (Steve), Jeff (Robin), Katelyn, Cameron, Sarah (Chris), Amy, Jane, Lauren, Olivia, Jeremy and Lindsay. Jerome was a Charter and 3rd Degree member of the Maryhill Knights of Columbus. He was also an avid sports fan who enjoyed softball, hockey and bowling. At Jerome's request a private family Funeral Mass took place at St. Boniface R.C. Church, Maryhill followed by interment at St. Boniface Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for a memorial gathering from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2006 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Kidney Foundation or the Transplant Unit at St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
